the cracked marketer is more in demand than the cracked engineer since tech never prioritized distribution when the product was the moat
now all the kids who've been running youtube channels since they were 13 are about to get very rich as a result
congratulations to all of us
friday update @contentrewards:
for creators
-> submit multiple clips from connected accounts without pasting links
-> draft uploads resume after connection drops, with real progress
-> message agencies directly and escalate submission issues to CR in the same chat
-> send images, edit messages and keep unsent support drafts after refreshing
-> CR-approved appeals can no longer be reversed by agencies
for brands
-> review image + slideshow drafts before they’re posted
-> private communities with members-only campaigns
-> invite creators by link, email or CSV
-> choose whether application campaigns require approval for each social account
-> refund requests wait for pending clips to be reviewed instead of auto-rejecting them
for agencies
-> support inbox with creator and campaign filters
-> clip stats, graphs and a creator’s other chats alongside each conversation
-> approve clips directly from support chats
-> shared reports now respect Paid / Paid + pending for both eCPM and submission counts
across CR
-> more relevant Discover search results
-> fixed search sorting by budget and creator count
-> campaign-history API limit increased from 30 to 120 requests per minute
limited rollout
-> dedicated dashboards for brand clients
-> payment links that fund campaign budgets directly
-> track open, paid and closed payment requests
and more already on the way... 👨🍳

Added support for image and slideshow drafts to @contentrewards.
Brands can review every slide, leave feedback and approve the updated version before it goes live.
2 years ago i took simplihow from 0 to almost 800k subs in 3 months
first 3 videos did over 30m views, before this format was everywhere
we also made $3k a day posting for brands on tiktok shop as a side project
that’s why i think a channel like this is worth $5–10m to the right business. people look at the ad revenue but barely think about what that distribution could sell
i know how much talent is sitting in the trenches and how little of the value they create they actually get to keep
i think helping them capture more of it is where the generational outcomes are
Less time copying links
More time making clips
just shipped on @contentrewards: submit clips without pasting links.

An AI startup got 1,000,000+ new users in 6 months.
Behind it were two guys paying people to post Roblox clips.
This is BloxClips.
YouTube had 65k daily uploads when Google announced its $1.65B acquisition in 2006
Content Rewards had 61,775 submissions yesterday
A lot more of your feed is going to run through us
Watching the first internet company I really fucked with go from a few hundred million to over $5B makes it pretty clear that the internet kids win
That culture has shaped what we're building at Content Rewards. We went from paying 0 people at the beginning of this year to over 36,000 in September all on Whop’s rails
We share the same mission: creating new ways for people to earn money on the internet
I believe we’re on pace to be the first company to go from 0 to unicorn on Whop
There’s never been a better time to build a business
Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify.
It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine.
We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there.
Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day.
Who cares, tiny market.
But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one.
Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people.
My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner.
We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier.
We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly.
The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.
This is what I wanna see more of on Content Rewards
People using clipping, seeing it work, then building businesses around it themselves
Lacy’s now a co-owner of Reach after seeing what it did for his own content
Welcome @LacyHimself
