Pharmacy Benefit Managers rig the system. They inflate prices and take advantage of community pharmacists.
That’s why I’ve introduced legislation to crack down on their shady practices and put patients first.

Transparent pharmacy benefit strategies can generate substantial savings while improving healthcare access for your employees and strengthening your community.
That's why you should join us for our upcoming webinar "Redefining the “Norm” of Employee Pharmacy Benefits – PBM Contracts & Employee Impact" on May 19th, at 2 PM ET. Where we tell the story of a Kansas School District that made the decision to use a transparent, pass through PBM and the savings that they saw as a result!
This is not a sales pitch - this is a grassroots initiative inspired by @commpharmacy (NCPA) Foundation's donor, Mark Cuban, to help move the needle on price transparency and healthcare accessibility. Learn actionable strategies to identify hidden costs, restructure contracts, and create win-win scenarios for employers, employees and local communities.

1. Today @FTC published its second interim staff report on the 3 major pharmacy benefit managers.
It finds these PBMs marked up several specialty generic drugs by thousands of percent, generating them more than $7.3 billion in extra revenue from 2017-22.

Instead of gaslighting, let's think about who makes a TON of money but makes no product, spend $0 on R&D (unless it's how to not pay bills), and provides zero care…. 🤔😒

Big insurance is fighting like hell to keep bipartisan PBM transparency and accountability reforms out of the CR because they’re putting profits over patients. We can’t let them win.
This is crucially important for patient access and pharmacy survival. This has to be included in the CR! @Commpharmacy
