Easy to criticise Kharge ji for that outburst. Difficult to be in his shoes. Anybody would lose it if faced with an audience that's smaller than the people on stage.
I hope the euphoric Indian crowd that is celebrating his win as its own and calling it a victory against authoritarianism, restoring democracy, saving the world, etc will agree with him on this.

Brazilian journalist Malu Gaspar says all Superior Electoral Court ministers were against the idea of extending the voting in Brazil by 2 hours.
Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer, appointed by Lula to Supreme Court Justice made that decision anyway

Madam @SoniaGandhi This video clip dates back to 24 December 1984, when you were seen emerging from a polling booth alongside your late husband, Rajiv Gandhi. K. C. Pant is also visible in the footage. You were granted Indian citizenship in 1983, just a year before this election. But it is alleged that your name already on the electoral rolls before you acquired Indian citizenship? If so, how was that possible? Did you address or clarify this issue in your book?

China made their first TBM in the 1960s for the love of god, what were these clowns doing for decades ?

These two are classic Lutyens cabal - Mukul Kesavan and Ashish Joshi, mocking Kanwal Sibal because he doesn't sing their anti-India tune.
And @KanwalSibal is still 100x more relevant than both of you combined.
Mr Kanwal Sibal:
- Foreign Secretary of India
- Ambassador to Russia, France, Turkey, Egypt
- Padma Shri
- 41 years IFS, negotiated with US, China, Russia when you were writing op-eds.
You, Ashish Joshi: Former DD News hack who got sacked, now surviving on Congress retweets. Your entire career is "retired uncle complaining on X".
Mukul Kesavan: Professional history lecturer who writes 800-word essays to say "Modi bad". His Platonic ideal of retired uncle is actually himself - sitting in Delhi, writing for Telegraph, being quoted by nobody outside Khan Market.
Kanwal Sibal says disagreement with regime is treason? No. He says disagreement with NATION in name of regime criticism is treason.
There's a difference. You call Galwan a PR stunt, you call Balakot fake, you call foreign policy failure when Rubio pays tribute at 26/11 memorial. That is not disagreement, that's self-loathing. If he didn't exist, we would need to invent him - to remind us what a real diplomat looks like vs Lutyens Twitter uncles like you two.
Mukul Kesavan calling Kanwal Sibal "retired Uncle" is rich.
One was Foreign Secretary who handled Russia, US, China.
Other is retired professor who writes "retired uncle" jokes for 44 retweets and 6 comments.
Kanwal Sibal is the gold standard of Indian diplomat. You two are gold standard of Lutyens echo chamber - self-importance, selective outrage, and belief that agreement with Soros equals intellect.
Exactly. @KanwalSibal is the gold standard of the Retired Uncle genre , equal parts self-importance, selective outrage, and the firm belief that disagreement with the current regime equals treason.
If he didn’t exist, the algorithm would have to generate him 😂🤣

Rather presumptuous of you to give me this patronising advice.
I took an oath to the constitution on joining service.
I have served the country for four decades when different govts were in power.
No politics. Only national interest.
Can you as a journalist claim that?
My respect for the judiciary is respect for its constitutional position.
Your lack of trust in it is lack of respect for the constitution.

BREAKING: Iran has cut off LPG exports to Pakistan after Islamabad's border closure with Iran under US pressure, making Pakistan lose more than half its LPG supply, with the price of a 12 kg cooking gas cylinder now up 56% in just days, from 4,500 to 7,000 rupees, and expected to climb further, per Reuters.
Pakistan imported about 7,000 tonnes a day from Iran. Hundreds of LPG tankers are stranded at the Gabd-Rimdan and Taftan crossings, and the Quetta Chamber of Commerce has told members to stop placing new orders with Iran.
"We did not expect this from our Pakistani friends, and did not expect them to come under the influence of American pressure," said an Iranian MP.
Bessent said he is working with Pakistan and Turkey to cut off Iran's land routes. Sealing Iran off is now cutting household fuel to its neighbours.
