🟢 Hamas is calling on the Arab League to hold an emergency meeting to confront Israel's policy of "re-starving" Gaza's population. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem urged groups and movements across the Arab world to "take action on the ground" and pressure all parties to stop the starvation of Palestinians in Gaza. He said Israel's renewed starvation policy cannot continue "amid the silence of the concerned parties." The call comes as Israel lets in about 34% of the 600 aid trucks a day required under the ceasefire, according to a report the Palestinian side prepared for the truce's mediators. The UN's World Food Programme has also cut food aid to 500,000 people in Gaza over funding shortages. 🎥 Saad Jamil & Ahmad Afash

There has been speculation that Netanyahu might try to accidentally on purpose provoke a resumption of war with Iran, in hopes of helping him in his election. The Israeli chief of staff appears to share that concern.
Israel's Channel 12 Reporting (English translation of their report:) Breaking news in this edition An unprecedented confrontation between the Chief of Staff and the Prime Minister has reached a critical—or perhaps disastrous—turning point over the last 24 hours. At the heart of the matter: the Iranian issue. There is concern on the part of [Chief of Staff] Zamir that Netanyahu and the political leadership might trigger a scenario of miscalculation vis-à-vis Iran, just ahead of the elections. A defense official states that the action in question could lead to a rapid confrontation with Iran at a highly sensitive and dramatic moment, potentially resulting in a miscalculation. Sources familiar with the details indicate that the military leadership fears an attempt to exploit the Iranian issue for political gain—a claim that political figures deny, labeling it an outright lie. Regardless, two sources tell me that the situation has escalated to the point where, during a visit to the Palmachim Airbase today, the atmosphere in the discussion was extremely tense. In recent days, Zamir received a directive from the political leadership but requested an in-depth discussion before taking any action. He also demanded formal, signed legal authorization from the political echelon for the proposed move. A senior defense official remarked: "History will not forget the role Zamir has played here over the last few days." In short: an exceptionally intense confrontation between Zamir and Netanyahu regarding the Iranian issue, occurring just before the elections. It should be noted: all details in this report have been approved by the Military Censor. Yaron Avraham

Excellent visual summary of my last report on MEDIA and Genocide ▶️Israel has tried all it could to eliminate professional reporting from/on Gaza: through propaganda, censorship, influencers ▶️Western media has often been Israel's house organ:for habit, convenience or just racism
Our latest highlights key findings from Francesca Albanese’s report, “Truth Under the Rubble: Media in the Time of Genocide”, exposing the systemic silencing of Palestinian journalists & the suppression of truth. Reshare to amplify findings & demand press freedom & accountability

The DC Circuit ruled 2-1 that 27 Christian and Jewish organizations could pursue their challenge to the Trump administration's removal of immigration-enforcement protections for houses of worship. They successfully argued that fear of enforcement keeps congregants away from worship and interferes with their religious communities. This ruling reversed a lower district court's dismissal, and it says that the coalition has legal standing to move forward with their lawsuit challenging the Department of Homeland Security's policy shift to target houses of worship. Didn't these ICE thugs see The Odyssey? All houses of worship are a sacred space. If you pull some fuckshit at a church, synagogue, mosque, etc., your soul could be damned forever.

🇵🇸 Israeli forces seized Dr. Mazen al-Rantisi, a 71-year-old Ramallah family doctor known as the "Doctor of the Poor," from his home in Ramallah's al-Tira neighborhood at dawn on June 21. In August, a lawyer for the Detainees Affairs Commission relayed his account of his detention in Ofer prison: ▪️ He was denied his regular medications for his first 10 days and was still without one medication he desperately needs.
▪️ His repeated requests to see a doctor were refused. His only exam was a pulse check through an opening in his cell door.
▪️ He lost a large amount of weight on food he described as scant and unfit to eat.
▪️ Detainees were forced to walk bent over with their hands shackled, made to kneel four times a day during roll calls, insulted and beaten.
▪️ At least 10 detainees were crammed into cells with six beds, amid raids with beatings and tear gas, mold, insects and no cleaning supplies. He was still wearing the clothes he was arrested in. For more than four decades, al-Rantisi charged patients 30 shekels (about $8) or less, waived fees for those who couldn't pay and answered medical questions by phone for free, often late at night. The Palestinian Prisoners' Club, which received him in Hebron, said signs of beating were visible on his body. 📸 Before/ After photos attached.
💢Palestinian “doctor of the poor,” released after 4 months in Israeli torture prisons Israeli authorities released Dr. Mazen Al-Rantisi, 71, from Ganot prison after more than four months in detention, with visible bruises and signs of physical assault, according to photos and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society. Al-Rantisi is widely known in the occupied West Bank as the “doctor of the poor.” He was arrested during a predawn raid on his Ramallah home on June 21, and his family was never informed of any reason.  Israeli media reports suggested his detention was linked to his role as chair of the Union of Health Work Committees, a Palestinian healthcare organization Israel designated an “unlawful association” in 2020. 📸 Before and after pictures. See post in reply for details of his detention.

He’s a fucking racist and there should literally be no debate about it. This is racism. Plain and simple.
Trump pushes gutter racism: "The guy in Michigan is pretty bad too -- Mohammed, as I call him ... if you have any question about somebody from that part of the world's name, just call him 'Mohammed,' you'll be right 64% of the time."

Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Benjamin Moser says Israel is "actively fomenting" antisemitism by claiming to act in the name of all Jews: "It's asking a lot of people to say that there's this Jewish army of this Jewish state with this Jewish star on their flag, and they are mercilessly slaughtering tens of thousands of children, but don't confuse them with Jews," Moser said. He argues that the reported rise in antisemitism is simply a rise in anti-Zionism, "people reacting to Israel and the evil, wicked things that Israel has been doing in our names."

Just listen to this. Then consider these polls: 76% of Jewish Israelis think there are no innocents in Gaza (Aug 2025) 82% support expelling Palestinians from Gaza (May 2025) 47% support killing all inhabitants of conquered enemy cities (May 2025)

I’m deeply alarmed by Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank. Settlements are expanding, evictions are unrelenting with Palestinians driven from their lands, settler violence is surging, Palestinian families are being assaulted.  We are seeing an increasingly coercive environment, with the spectre of ethnic cleansing looming ever larger.  This must end.  There can be no durable peace in the Middle East without the realization of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination.

A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r
