EIGHT SHIPS. JUST 19 DAYS.
Since October 5, eight commercial vessels have been involved in serious incidents in the western Black Sea, just off the coasts of NATO members Romania and Bulgaria.
Several were struck by drones. Others caught fire or sank, with some circumstances and attribution still under investigation.
The human cost is staggering:
• 81 sailors reported rescued or safe
• 21 reported missing
• 12–13 reported dead or presumed dead, including 10 presumed fatalities
The latest incident happened TODAY. The cargo ship KHORYV capsized just 13 nautical miles off Constanța, leaving one sailor dead and three missing. Romania has blamed Russia for the attack.
These are civilian ships, carrying civilian crews, operating on the doorstep of NATO territory.
I've mapped all eight incidents from October 5–23, including their reported locations and the human cost.

Ukrainian forces carried out a Storm Shadow cruise missile strike tonight on Russia's Proton plant in Oryol, a producer of electronics for ballistic missiles.
Comes days after the UK supplied Ukraine with a new package of Storm Shadows to hunt down Russian missile capabilities.

No longer just drones, today Ukrainian missiles targeted Russia's Baltimor airbase in Voronezh, about 300 kilometers from Ukraine. Locals documented high-speed missiles, not drones.
The Soviet era base, operating since the 1930s, hosts the 47th Guards Bomber Regiment flying Su-34s. Videos show a large fire and thick smoke. Russian military bloggers are suggesting losses, sarcastically lamenting incompetent air defenses. Full damage assessment not yet confirmed.

More chaos at Russian airports, as over 500 flights now canceled or delayed across the country due to Ukraine’s ongoing attacks.
Chaos in Moscow as a Ukrainian drone raid has triggered widespread airspace closures and evacuations of Moscow city business districts.
All four major airports, Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, are under emergency airspace restrictions, with around 547 flights delayed or cancelled nationwide.
Reports also suggest that high-altitude balloons may be among the airborne objects detected.
An emergency evacuation is also reported at the IQ-Quarter skyscraper complex in Moscow City, which houses several Russian government ministries.
Russian authorities say at least 17 drones have been intercepted, with passengers at Sheremetyevo now moved into shelters.

The speed limits on Starlink and Starshield are still there. The speed has not been restored. And the delivery of interceptors to protect us against Russian ballistic missiles is still delayed. We’re waiting for interceptors that were already agreed on. But they are still not coming. This is a real problem, because the Russians attack us almost every single day.
All of this is happening while we continue our quite successful operations on the front. We keep defending positions. Things have become harder – partly because of the Starlink and Starshield policies and speed limits. But our frontline is still holding and I am proud of how strong our people are.

In a perfect metaphor for Putin's Russia, the whole town of Berezniki that contains the massive factory complex that Ukraine just hit is now rapidly collapsing into the earth due to corruption that left potash mines abandoned last decade.
Ukraine has again reached deep inside Russia, targeting the massive Azot chemical complex in Berezniki, Perm Krai, roughly 1,500 km from the Ukrainian border.
Azot is one of Russia’s major nitrogen-chemical plants, producing ammonia, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate and urea. Concentrated nitric acid and ammonium nitrate are key inputs in explosives production. The same facility was targeted in September and previously in October 2025.

🚨 BREAKING - Azzm Khan, 29, of Lakeview, has been arrested in connection with the attempted arson at Young Israel of West Hempstead, NY.
Police allege he attacked the shul’s entrance with a baseball bat, tried to push a burning lawn sign under the doors, and set a nearby bush on fire.
Khan faces arson and criminal mischief charges.
