I’m a dialysis patient and I’m also a cardiology trainee. The deanery are sending me to a hospital 1.5 hours away during rush hour. If I leave at 1730, home at 1900, start 4 hours dialysis at 1930, needles out ~00:00. To me that’s unsustainable, but deanery are deaf to my concern

Sometimes it’s obvious on Twitter that some other people have blatant autism and or ADHD but they have no idea and I just want to blurt it out to them. Other NDs must get this too, surely.

A colleague said “what a waste” about me planning to go into psychiatry I’ve had disparaging comments since medical school with doctors who consider it less valuable, worthwhile or prestigious Why can’t they just be supportive? We need people to #ChoosePsychiatry
