it's earned, one human interaction at a time. and people who feel at home don't leave. on top of this, @binance keeps building for the many, not the few. that's why it is number 1, and why people stay. i'm sure anyone who has met him, or Yi, or anyone from the team, will tell you the same. a platform is only as human as the people behind it. humility and kindness have no status.

one of the things i've always respected about @binance is the philosophy behind SAFU. what started as a simple meme, “funds are safu,” eventually became something much more meaningful: a billion-dollar emergency reserve designed to protect users. launched in 2018, SAFU has already been put to the test. when binance suffered a 7,000 BTC hack in 2019, users were made whole. fast forward to 2026, and the fund has reportedly transitioned to 15,000 BTC, with a commitment to replenish it to $1B if its value falls below $800M. what stands out to me isn't just the size of the reserve. it's the mindset behind it. crypto moves fast. markets change, narratives come and go, and new products launch every day. but trust is built differently. it takes years of consistency, accountability, and putting users first. as a founder, i believe this is one of the most important lessons we can learn from @cz_binance, @heyibinance, and the team at @binance. building a product is one thing. building something people can trust through multiple market cycles is another. funds are SAFU. but more importantly, trust is earned.

⚠️ Beware if you use a Ledger hardware wallet, especially if you bought one recently. Based on information so far, it seems to be localized to a supply chain attack with one vendor. A small number of people probably bought fake (or tampered) Ledgers. Ledger is one of the most secure and oldest hardware wallets in the industry. Stood the test of time. But these things happen. I expect and know all BNB ecosystem players (and all industry) to help trace and recover the funds.
