What the average Nigerian pursues isn’t success but just the feeling of being better than others arround them, hence the abuse of words such as “luxury”, “exquisite “, “secret”
Nigerians are so terrible with numbers that if I tell someone a car is worth $1M they will believe without question, they can’t fathom the difference between $1M and 1 million naira in their head

“I have no reason to steal public money. I have enough to go back home and relax, travel to where I want for the rest of my life. The only thing I can do now that will make meaning to my life is to pull people out of poverty.”

But why are you as an average citizen actually supporting Tinubu? I literally cannot make sense of it.
I understand why those "anywhere belle face" people are supporting him — they're getting some benefits.
But those of you who are suffering just like majority of the population, why are you supporting this government? You're barely making ends meet, you can't get a good job, some of you don't even know what you'll eat tonight, yet, you're supporting the government that put you in that possible.
Those of you in diaspora as well who ran away from this country for greener pastures, better healthcare, security among other things. Some of you sold properties to travel out, some of you had to take a loan because this country has become unbearable for you.
I literally cannot make sense of why anyone is supporting Tinubu.
I mean, if you want to be tribalistic, why can't you vote for Seyi Makinde?? Someone who has a good track record in his state, so good that he won 31 out of 33 LGAs for his second term.
Why are you supporting the evil one? The failure!
I really cannot fathom this level of madness.
“Ooh brilliant “ no be compliment ooh😂😂
I had a conversation with an HR from Poland recently, and the call went really well.
Towards the end, she casually asked, “You’re from what part of Africa again?”
I said Nigeria, and she went, “Ooooh, brilliant!”
Now I’m wondering if I’ve got a Nigerian predecessor who left a good impression or if I’m just overthinking things. 😂
I’ll share an update in the coming days or weeks.
I think Most people don’t know where is Lagos Mainland
Ogba, Gbagada isn’t part of it, it’s an LGA of its own spanning from Carter bridge side to Adekunle side down to Yaba , Jibowu

Hi @the_boludada @bachs_hq is there like a postman collection with api reference and sample apps?
Too lazy to go through documentation, seeing something like that helps me figure things out faster

This only holds true if you're at the bottom layer of skills. I promise you that high value skills are always sought after, whether remote or not.
A lot of you Nigerians always want to go for the easily accessible skills because you don't have the patience to learn a proper skill where value lives. You're going for for skills with low barrier to entry.. what the hell is virtual assistance, social media management, general writing, basic no code automation??
You're easily replaceable by an AI agent or the client can simply choose to do the work themselves to save cash. Your skills have low job retention.
Focus your energy on where a bulk of business value lives, focus on skills where the bar is high and the competition is fewer. Invest time, money and energy in being the best at what you do, and treat your hustle like a business, because that's what you are as a remote worker. You're a business (contractor) and not just an individual employee with job security and benefits.
When picking a premium skill, ask yourself: "If I disappear mid-project or make a massive mistake, does the business lose $500, or do they lose $500,000?"
If your answer is the former, then you're in a low value skill, you need to move up the layers.
Remote workers, I hate to admit this, but I think reality is beginning to set in.
Remote job opportunities have reduced, and if we don't prepare for what's coming, a lot of us will struggle financially.
Let's be honest. Many of the opportunities available today are freelance gigs. Some last months, some last a few years, but not all of them offer long-term security.
That's why diversifying your income is more important now than ever.
If you're a remote worker who spends money anyhow because you believe another job will always come, please wake up.
Your current income is not guaranteed to last. Build other income streams while you still have the money to do so.
