I’m not sure I’ve seen a Nigel Farage press conference quite this empty

This is the biggest corruption scandal in American history. The Trump crime family is trying to sell the future natural gas rights of Alaska to the Russians in exchange for $25 billion in cash for themselves today.

I will say this- again. In a safety critical 'industry' like healthcare? Lesser trained staff usage-at scale-will cause harm. You will 'get away with it' a lot of times. Yet all it needs is 'one miss'. And the higher training reduces the chance of that 'one' - it's what training is all about. If you don't understand that? You fail safety issues And you fail as an educator and trainer. Thank you @JanetEastham for continuing to raise the issue. The irony? Every single person responsible for such decisions regards 'what the public can have' - reaches out to a doctor when they need help for their loved one. 'Cake for me. None for you.'
Dylan Cope died after an A&E nurse practitioner mistook his abdominal pain for flu, having ignored his GP’s referral for suspected appendicitis. His family thought she was a doctor. A coroner found he would have survived had a senior doctor examined him. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Always the same If we need more Drs ? we can’t fill the service with other staff and expect patients to be safe . The gap is still UNFILLED !
Minutes from a council meeting in 2021 . GP recruitment shortage led to the PCN moving away from the traditional model (Family Doctors ) towards a model including PAs and nursing associates . Tried ‘ golden handshakes ‘ to recruit GPs - not an effective strategy

Sounds about right😂😂
Nigel Farage rules out politicians moving to a four day week. 'Increasing my working week by three days is untenable' the fag ash fuhrer told a source familiar with these things.

This 👇😡
It seems strange that there is such warranted concern about staff access to records and breaches of confidentiality, yet totally random people looking to profit from patient data have full access to patient records even if patients explicitly state they refuse Palantir access

I view Boris JOHNSON as a criminal. He knew what he was doing and did it gleefully. He should have been locked up by now. This is what is wrong with this country. A fascist, sociopathic and psychopathic RULING ELITE who don't think the rules apply to them.
This man and his lackey Hancock have been found guilty of killing thousands of older people living in care homes and lying to the public time and again. They should be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned posthaste.

🇺🇸🛰️🇺🇦 Elon Musk’s $445 Million Political Gamble: Desperation, Ukraine And The MAGA Trap Elon Musk accuses Ukrainians of enriching themselves with Western aid and suggests US taxpayer money is laundered back into American political campaigns. That’s a hell of an accusation from a man reportedly putting over $445 MILLION into Republican politics this election cycle, including $76 MILLION in early October. Is Musk exposing corruption, or projecting his own political and financial interests onto everyone else? Let’s get something fucking straight. Ukraine didn’t invade Russia. Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukrainians are defending their country, families, and right to exist. Yes, Ukraine has corruption, definitely not bigger than Russia and in Trump administration. Its own anticorruption agencies, NABU and SAPO, investigated the Energoatom scandal, Operation Midas, exposed in 2025. Officials faced allegations and detention; some suspects fled. Zelensky has not been publicly charged in that case. Even Grok acknowledged that distinction after I challenged it. And Musk’s allegation that Ukrainian aid funded US political campaigns? Where are the transactions? Which politicians? That investigation doesn’t prove his US election claim. Meanwhile, reports put Musk’s contributions to a Republican super PAC supporting Ken Paxton’s Texas Senate effort at $158 MILLION. Texas is central to his empire: SpaceX’s Starbase and Tesla’s headquarters are there. Apparently, only other people’s financial incentives deserve scrutiny. Here’s my hypothesis: Musk looks increasingly desperate as the midterms approach. He’s tied his reputation, influence and businesses to Trump and MAGA. A Democratic House could bring investigations, subpoenas, hearings and scrutiny of government contracts. Not automatic arrests or collapse, but headaches for companies tied to government. I can’t prove panic, but it also seems like it. His spending and escalating accusations make me suspect it. And I suspect another possibility: Trump and his circle may have Musk psychologically hooked, almost like a mafia style relationship with someone who is not fully their own. Once somebody believes they’re on the hook, they may feel trapped even without real blackmail material. As a neurodivergent person myself, I know how difficult manipulation can be to recognize. His autism alone proves nothing about susceptibility. I have no evidence Trump is blackmailing him, but sometimes it’s feels like it. My point is that perceived leverage can sometimes work like real leverage. Or he may believe his claims or be calculating. Several explanations can coexist. Poland’s foreign minister Radosław Sikorski, who has repeatedly clashed with Musk, pointed out that Europeans pay for American weapons supplied to Ukraine, benefiting US companies, and warned that politicizing products damages Musk’s brand. Europe has reasons to develop alternatives to Starlink. Technology still needs customers and trust. And look at the voters: an October 19–20 Economist/YouGov poll found sympathy for Ukraine versus Russia at 82% to 1% among Democrats, 64% to 4% among Independents, and 52% to 4% among Republicans. That’s sympathy, not a vote on military aid. Even Republicans sympathize far more with Ukraine than Russia. I’ve said it before: I believe Musk thought he could RIDE TO THE STARS ON MAGA’S BACK, using political power to advance his technological ambitions. What if the alliance has become a dependency? What if the man trying to use politics for business has made his businesses vulnerable to politics? Even MAGA retaining power won’t guarantee European or even American customers or permanent public trust. Musk can correct a rocket’s trajectory. Can he recognize when his own political trajectory is heading toward disaster? Being a successful entrepreneur, businessman, or even the richest man in the world absolutely doesn’t mean you’re successful at being a damn good human being.

Is our NHS good enough for our mum's healthcare? Please read this👇
"It seems to me that a decision has been made to replace doctors and to remove distinctions between doctors and other professions. It's no coincidence that the NHS continues to struggle with efficiency, productivity, and safety problems while we progress further towards a blended workforce without the necessary training supervision or regulation." The @GOP must be thrilled that 11 days before elections, we learn that the Trump family secretly orchestrated a deal to allow Russians to drill Alaska in exchange for a $25 billion "investment" funneled through their proxies.
And another. Trump isn’t just betraying Ukraine to the Kremlin, he’s selling out America too.

Reform UK's private police in Colchester have been given an official reprimand after they illegally handcuffed two teenage girls. Operation Vanguard is a private security patrol employed at the cost of £150,000 to the taxpayer, to wander the streets of Braintree, Chelmsford and Colchester. If we look a little further though, unsurprisingly, Reform UK have some serious questions to answer. The BBC reported yesterday that two of the private police patrol, run by a firm called My Local Bobby, were officially rebuked by the police for illegally detaining these girls. Essex Police said two offences of assault without injury were recorded and “learning requirements” had been “passed to the security staff employers”. The £150,000 contract for Operation Vanguard was awarded without tender to My Local Bobby by Peter Harris, Reform leader of the council. The goons handcuffed two teenagers they believed to be shoplifting, but these security staff have zero powers of detention under the law. As you can see from Essex County Council's own website FAQs below, they have no powers at all. It feels to me that the citizens of Essex should be aware of this fact and be prepared to stand up to these glorified store detectives. FAQs state that they cannot arrest people, they have no powers of stop and search, no power to ask questions and absolutely zero enforcement powers. They are literally performing 'citizens arrests' and being paid £150,000 by the council for it. If those in Essex know this then it could easily open the council up to substantial lawsuits if their vigilantes carry on 'arresting' people illegally. Reform UK are wasting public money again and setting themselves up to be sued. Again. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crly…

Unregulated expansion of PAs started in 2015 It took 10 years to finally get the Leng Review 15m after being published it is still not being followed, sadly there are some who are still pushing for undiagnosed (undifferentiated) patients to be seen first by PAs in GP practices0
Physician Assistants were first muted as an idea an concept in the early 2010s as a way of alleviating the workforce shortage in General Practice, helping GPs deal with some of the more simple and mundane tasks to allow GPs more time for patients.  A 🧵 rcp.ac.uk/media/ffdai1fx/com…

Why does UK media prefer to report on private lives of Royalty&pop stars rather expose the NHS replacement of drs with unsafe inferiorly trained staff. This affects us all! We all will be NHS patients at some point, especially in an emergency situation.
I should hope not, but why are public not being informed of the ramifications of 10YP & substitution of Drs, nurses, AHPs, pharmacists & paramedics, with lesser trained practitioners, assistants & techs? Is this just not newsworthy? Do editors not want to publish? 🤷

Trump has decided to hold me—rather than Putin—responsible for all the problems. He claims to his supporters that diesel prices in America are rising because of us, — Zelenskyy. I find it wrong and unacceptable that Trump blames me for Russian aggression and the crimes committed by Russia. He is distorting the context, and that is unfair. In my view, this is merely an attempt to divert attention from the situation in Iran and events in the Middle East. The Strait of Hormuz is blocked—that is the true core of the problem. Yet, all of this is being pinned on us, and I, as head of state, am being made a target.
