We’re committed to building a new, state-of-the-art clean water recycling plant in Memphis that will recycle 10 million gallons of water each day. Work will restart in January 2027.
The system will protect ~3.64 billion gallons of Memphis drinking water yearly by eliminating SpaceXAI’s industrial water draws from the Memphis Aquifer. It will also supply water to other major industrial users, further reducing demand on the aquifer and the City’s water supply.

@Tesla and @SpaceX Terafab, to be built ~130 miles (~210 Km) east of Giga Texas near College Station in Grimes County.
Initial phase: $16.8 billion from Tesla and SpaceX combined. Multi-phase could be ~$119 billion once completed.
Planned footprint: More than 100 million square feet & would be one of the largest factories in the world if not the largest. It will be roughly 10× the size of Giga Texas!
