We’re excited to share that subnet 65's first competition, TPN Genesis, has officially begun.
We picked Qwen3.5-2B as the target, a compact open-weight model from Alibaba's Qwen family, sitting around 4GB at full precision.
The aim is to compress it down to fit inside a 2GB memory ceiling, without losing what it knows or how well it reasons.
Every submission gets benchmarked against MMLU (general knowledge, 70%) and HellaSwag (common sense reasoning, 30%) to determine rank.
The winning submission, TPN-001, will be published on TPN's Hugging Face, with TPN's own portal coming soon as a second home for it.
Submission window is open now, with roughly 6.5 days to compete, plus ~3 days of scoring.
