1 year ago, I was depressed and had only $300 in my bank account
Now my product makes $15,000 a month
It's used by:
- 5,000 users
- 20 businesses
Here is how I did it
most health advice here tells you to limit calories and eat more proteins and completely ignores fiber
but fiber keeps you full and makes it easy not to overeat, prevents cancer, lowers blood sugar and has a ton of other health benefits
so it's important to track fiber as well
but eating enough of it while maintaining a cal deficit is tricky
i've been maintaining a 2200 calorie limit for the past 3 months, while also eating min 35 g of fiber per day
here is how i do it:
1. i add chia seeds to my skyr
skyr is awesome for protein, but its taste is bland and it has no fiber. i add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to my skyr overnight and get a protein-maxxed healthy version of chia pudding in the morning
the taste is much better, and my skyr gets rich in fiber!
2. i replaced rice with buckwheat
white rice is a terrible side – it spikes your blood sugar, has no fiber, and u r hungry in 30 mins again after eating it
you can replace it with brown rice, but it takes 45 min to cook it. i sometimes do it, but it's not for every day
instead i eat buckwheat. it takes only 15 mins to cook it (less than white rice!), and it's rich in protein and fiber
3. avo toast for breakfast
i used to only eat eggs and skyr for breakfast, but it's very blend food and i got tired of it
recently my wife started cooking avo toast for us, i looked up its composition and it was actually really good
the trick is never to use white bread for it – i use whole rye bread, it has A LOT of fiber and protein
we also split avocados in half and each eats one – this way we don't overstap our fats (avocados have a lot of organic fat, it's good monounsaturated, but still fat) and still get 6 g of fibre per serving
I’m so grateful to how X influenced my life
Following @marclou, @levelsio and others and sharing my thoughts here not only made me earn my first online $ and go full time entrepreneur
But also MASSIVELY improved my health
I started going to the gym 3 times a week on top of doing 3 boxing sessions weekly
I’m cooking 90% of my meals at home now in an air fryer, maintain a 2200 calorie deficit and my 6 pack finally started showing
Today I took my wife to the gym together, we spent very cool time and had a lot of fun
Then I cooked soy sauce chicken with buckwheat and beaten cucumbers
(Buckwheat is a real super food in fact, super low calories but an insane fiber count, funny how I hated it in my Russian childhood)
Anyways I’m grateful to the ppl here for the person I’m becoming and just wanna keep going ❤️🩹
this is official
i'm going to Naples to dive in Roman ruins!
the site is called Baia, and it has underwater Roman villas buried after the Vesuvius eruption!
most people go dive in Egypt, Bali or the Philippines, but I think seeing actual Roman floors and mosaics in the wild is 1000x cooler
funny thing – calling the Italian number wasn't included in my Austrian mobile operator, so I used @yadaphone for that 😎
i didn't get a lot of things the support agent said with an Italian accent, but Yada made a recording for me I gave to my agent to decipher
AI took my job but gave me the life I've been dreaming of
6 years ago I was living in Vienna with €500 in my bank account and a useless humanities degree
I thought – how the hell do I make money?
I looked on the jobs market and saw – the only people earning well were software developers
I taught myself how to code and found my first job in an Austrian fiscal-tech startup
Since then I switched jobs several times, launched my own products, and started freelancing
When I joined my first startup as a cofounder, I took a lot of pride in being the "technical" cofounder – all thanks to the months spent learning how to code
Then AI appeared – and the job of a software developer started to fade into the past
AI took away the pleasure of writing code and the bright prospects of earning 6 figures in big tech, but I got something much bigger
I now run two software products earning more than €15,000 a month alone
All the coding, support, and a big part of marketing is done with AI
Without LLMs, I would need to hire a team, and a lot of freedom I have now would evaporate – as well as my margins
I can wake up on a random Tuesday and go for a 2-hour bike ride. And my products don't break – AI is monitoring usage and keeping the servers up 24/7
And that goes further than work. 3 months ago I started uploading all the food I eat into my AI agent R2
I learned how unhealthy and fatty my diet was. ChatGPT taught me the basics of nutrition and gave recipes
Now I cook 90% of my meals, eat healthy, and track my calories
The result – I lost 3 kilograms and for the first time in my life, the 6-pack started showing! Today I used the last link of my belt – I wasn't able to do that in 3 years 😅
AI influenced my creativity as well – last week I started doing videos and recording myself. Claude handles editing, and I learn the nitty-gritty of video content
This would never have been possible without AI, because I would never let myself spend money on an editor not knowing what results it would bring
Thanks to AI I'm no longer a software developer, I'm a business owner, marketer, engineer, cook, and content creator
My life became more stressful and less predictable, but I also have more freedom and happiness than ever before
POV Europe-West-2 yesterday
Revolut services are back online after yesterday’s outage.
The disruption began shortly after 7am BST on 20 Oct, when a power event hit Google Cloud’s London region (europe-west2-b). Failures interrupted services for hours. Most Google Cloud issues were mitigated by early afternoon; Revolut later confirmed the issue was fixed and services restored. Customer money and data remained safe throughout.
The impact was significant. Revolut has about 70m customers in Europe, and it seems most were affected. Reports came from the UK, Ireland, France, Spain and elsewhere. Card payments, transfers, ATMs, currency exchange and app access were affected. Revolut Business (850k+ companies) was also disrupted, hitting payments and operations.
Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, Halifax, UK courts, Rightmove, DPD, and others also reported problems. Customers described abandoned purchases at tills and petrol stations, couldn't pay for travel, and businesses couldn't process payments.
This was a clear concentration-risk event. One cloud zone became a single point of failure for critical payment and banking services used by millions. The UK's FCA said it was engaging with Google and affected firms. The PRA and Bank of England were also reported to be in contact under the critical third-party regime (Google Cloud was designated in July 2026).
Revolut had previously signalled plans to move to multi-cloud by adding Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a roadmap to 2027. The outage indicates those measures were not yet sufficiently in place for core European operations. Some rivals, such as Monzo, were not widely reported as affected.
Google will investigate and publish a fuller report on the power event. That will clarify the technical details, but not the strategic questions: how quickly firms can reduce single-cloud and single-region dependence, and whether workable contingencies are actually ready. An event at one data centre near London was enough to disrupt millions of people and significant commercial activity.
Another day - another incident
Revolut is down, and several APIs I pay for blocked my account for low funds overnight 🫠
Affected @yadaphone as well, but now we are back up!
I've seen a lot of services go down, but didn't prepare for a bank going down!
I‘m now using my AI bot R2 not only to handle support and manage my biz but also to track calories and coach me in gym
Every time I do an exercise I record myself and send the video to R2
It records my reps and coaches me on technique
Already corrected my deadlifts massively btw
So professions cooked by R2 so far:
- developers
- support agents
- cold outreach marketers
- nutrition coaches
- gym coaches
Btw recording u on video somehow cures social anxiety and anxiety about cameras - can recommend!
Not feeling like work today so gonna use the freedom given to me by entrepreneurship
Plan for today:
Gym 🏋️♂️
Buy some stuff in Ikea 🛋️
Finally wash my bike 🚲
Mac OS became so buggy Apple added "Force quit" to quick access for the first time in history
I upgraded to Mac OS Golden Gate and it feels like what Windows used to feel like compared to Mac 10 years ago:
- search still doesn't work properly
- when I press on apps they no longer auto-focus
- random bugs like black screens in apps happen all the time
What's going on at @Apple
Today:
Started recording a YouTube video
Boxing session
Meeting a friend for alcohol free beers 🍻
Life is good
Part 3 of my vlog is out!!
I’m sharing how my daily work looks like as a solo founder and why it’s not nothing like what I expected when I dreamt of quitting 9-5
Enjoy!
My second daily vlog is out!
In this episode:
- @eSIMPalx hit €5,000 a month 😱
- finally featured in a proper travel blog post!
- building today: making eSIM access super fast and low-data
Idea -> published Mac application now takes exactly 22 minutes
I love my teleprompter so much I decided to publish it
I will update it with more features as I record more video and use it
Feel free to download the app or give the code to your AI agent as inspiration and build your own thing!
I recently started recording videos and wanted to have a teleprompter
Before AI I would go online, search for a teleprompter app, install several on my Mac and pick one that suits me best
Now I don't even wanna mess with the shitty software other ppl write, so I gave a task to Claude and had my teleprompter ready in 5 minutes
And I can change it in any way I want, customize it to my needs and have the design I like
Btw I took a picture with my phone because Claude was smart enough to make the prompter invisible to screenshots on the first go!
Check it out here! github.com/deniurchak/prompt…

I lived in Vienna for 6 years and can confirm it's an awesome place to live but it comes with A LOT of downsides:
💸 you will pay 50% tax as a self-employed
The 48% income tax bracket in Austria is starts with €70k, and if you are growing your online biz you will reach it soon
Founding your company elsewhere like Dubai or Singapore won't work – Austria looks at the effective place of management, and if you live in Austria you will need to pay both PIT and CIT here no matter where your company is set up
Social security contributions in Austria are a de facto progressive income tax as well. Your base for it is capped at €97k per year, but below that you will pay 27% of income for social security + complusory state health insurnace
The state health insurance doesn't cover dentist work and you will still need to pay 10% of the cost of each doctor's visit
You will also never fully use your social security until you reach pension, because entrepreneurs in Austria are not automatically entitled to unemployment benefits unlike regular employees (absurd, given how much tax u pay)
💃 nightlife in Vienna is practically non-existent. Austria is a nation of early wake-upers. People get up at 6 ot 7, do a lot of sports (which is nice), but most restaurants close before 23:00, and clubs are empty at 2 AM already
🛒 grocery shops close at 8 PM on weekdays and don't work on Sundays. this creates a lot of stress cause you need to plan all your groceries, and grocery/healthy food deliveries after 8 PM don't exist
In no other place have I spent so much time on day-to-day chores such as cooking, cleaning, and groceries as in Vienna – outsourcing chores in Austria is simply not a thing
Vienna is a great place to raise a child or live off your wealth after you turn 60, but it's pretty terrible for young people and especially entrepreneurs
