A widget I made with Pyto 😬

I hope Apple putting more ads in the App Store means they will allow side loading so they’re trying to compensate the future lost money with more ads. But maybe it’s just because of tax change to 15%. Or they just want more money from their monopoly

Finally
Apple’s vice president of worldwide marketing, Greg Joswiak, has confirmed that Apple will have to comply with the new EU regulation and switch the iPhone to USB-C. The iPhone 15 lineup next year is expected to feature USB-C

I made a module to list, create and modify calendar events. Pretty easy to use.

With State Manager and a hardware keyboard, UIKeyboardBoundsUserInfoKeyĀ gives the size greater than 0, I think it’s the size of the software keyboard, even if it’s not displayed

We can check if GCKeyboard.coalesced (from GameKit) is nil to know wether a hardware keyboard is connected or not. But I think that will not handle the case when a keyboard is connected but the user manually chose to display the software keyboard

The weird thing is that’s only with State Manager
So I added a namespace inspector to the debugger. There was one once in early versions of Pyto but it was really unreliable and it recursion didn’t work well. But now it’s back!

I FIXED PYLINT’S MEMORY LEAK AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW BUT IT WORKS NOW

Fixing bugs in Pyto is basically changing things until it works

It’s almost 2023 and some people still think that force quitting apps on iOS will improve performance

I’m rolling molly right now, alone. And I’ve never experienced so much gender euforia before. I’m just me, how I’m looking right now is a perfect expression of my identity. Love it

That’s so funny wtf
Getting another round of App Store rejections because our code references top-secret Apple function names like addToGroup, setupView and… updateltem. Only Apple — at the intersection of software, hardware and the arts — could conceive of updating items.

Implementing pylint in the code editor is being a nightmare. I wish I could just invoke subprocesses so I wouldn’t need to care about memory

Ok I’ll just use pyflakes, it doesn’t leak memory
Now that everyone is talking about State Manager: I really like it, except for one thing: windows resizing automatically. Why? Just put the window in top of the other windows and let me resize them how I want manually. I’m still on iPadOS 16.0 tho, so idk if that changed
