Everyone analyzing the Jayson Tatum-Jaylen Brown relationship need to realize this: Teammates don’t have to be best friends. Same as any other work environment, as long as you trust your coworker to do his job and help the company, you don’t need to be buddies.

Jared Curtis is incredibly talented. Makes throws most QBs can only dream of making. But the overall decision making needs to be the biggest offseason focus for him: - Making quicker reads / getting rid of ball - Not trying to play hero ball every play - Managing the game

This is awesome. I have ticket stubs and credentials from every game/event I’ve ever attended. I understand why teams use digital tickets, but the feeling of holding those tickets and looking back at them through the years is priceless.
For 28 years, 69-year-old Rick Taylor has gathered tickets from Cal Ripken Jr.’s 2,632-game streak spanning 1982–1998. Now only eight away, the retired salesman’s 16-box basement collection — each ticket labeled and shielded — ranks among baseball’s most notable. Taylor never anticipated reaching single digits, yet he feels confident about finishing. 🎥 The Associated Press

My thought on @joevardon article about Knicks rings: Everyone in sports is told to sacrifice for championships. People do that with time, $, etc. Toying with employees about actually getting rings by sending a phishing email for a cybersecurity test is just plain cruel.

Great to catch up with Blake Harper this morning. Blake played at Howard in 24/25 and is the only player in MEAC history to win Player & Rookie of the Year in the same season. Looking for him to have a big year at VCU this season.

Lots of NBA fans wonder why the Wizards would keep Anthony Gill for a 7th season. I’ve known him since 2016, and the reasons why go well beyond what you see on the court. Full insight @LinkedIn . lnkd.in/p/eu5rDgwy
Not sure if it means anything, but the Wizards announced a bunch of waivers and did not include Anthony Gill. Could mean that Gill has once again made the Washington roster and claimed their 15th roster spot. Something to keep an eye on.

Vandy Football was magical last season. No fans expect that every year, but to go from what this program was the last 2 years to now just feels like a major step back. The lack of discipline, innovative play calling, and young talent outside Curtis is alarming.

If you look at Vanderbilt pre-Pavia and Vanderbilt post-Pavia, what he did over the last 2 seasons becomes even more unfathomable. Heisman voters really dropped the ball last year. PS: This Vandy team is a brutal, unenjoyable watch

Awesome story on Mike Gansey. Met Mike in 2015 when Damien Inglis was on flex assignment from the Bucks to the Canton Charge. Ever since then we’ve stayed connected and few people in the NBA combine being great at their job and being a great dude like he does.
"I love Mike Gansey,” Nets coach Jordi Fernandez said. Almost everyone I talked to used those exact words. New story, for @ringer /@ringernba , on the Sixers’ new boss, the superteam he built and his plan for holding it together: theringer.com/2026/10/13/nba…

This is a Robbie Caldwell level Vanderbilt performance. 1) Complete lack of emotional discipline 2) Zero push in the trenches 3) Total boneheaded decision making 4) Completely outclassed in every imaginable way

Three years ago Hamas terrorists launched a premeditated slaughter of innocent Israeli citizens, unleashing an explosion of violent antisemitism worldwide. As we remember the victims of 10/7, we must all recommit to confronting anti-Jewish hate wherever it appears.

A moment that captures how we all felt on October 7. After clearing Kfar Aza of Hamas terrorists, a team of Israeli commandos entered a family’s home and found fresh challah rolls laid out on the table, waiting for Shabbat morning. One of the soldiers broke down in tears, realizing the family would never gather at the table, join together, and eat them. Three years of unimaginable loss and pain, but never forget how this war began. Video: Ziv Koren

I am not a baseball fan generally, but the drama and tension of the last 3 innings of that Brewers-Padres game was phenomenal stuff.

Never, ever, ever forget the evil that hit on Oct 7th. Never forget the evil.👇
This is not a scene from a movie. This is October 7. This is 4-year-old Negev and his six-month-old brother, Eshel. The terrorists rocking Eshel in the stroller and holding Negev by the hand had just murdered their mother, Adi. Negev later said: "Bad people came into our house with drills and drilled through the whole house. They wanted to drill Eshel, but Mom wouldn’t let them. She told us to remember that she loved us more than anything in the world. And then she left." The terrorists placed grenades around Adi’s body and left her as bait inside one of the rooms. They tied another grenade to the door handle, so whoever came looking for her would be killed too. Then they filmed a propaganda video to show how "good" they were. They gave wounded Negev water and filmed him saying thank you in Arabic. They had just murdered his mother in front of him. Imagine that. Moments later, they took Negev and Eshel to a neighbor’s house. From there, the terrorists kidnapped all three and headed toward Gaza. On the way, Eshel cried nonstop. His crying bothered the terrorists, who thought he would become a problem later on, so they left all three by the side of the road and continued toward Gaza. They walked back to Kibbutz Holit and survived. The truth cannot be erased. Don't you dare forget.
