We’re live! Check out the new shiny project I’m working on ⛴️
We’re mapping a century of coastal change with Coasts in Mind 🌊
Thanks to a generous grant from @HeritageFundUK and @LR_Foundation, we’re empowering communities to map the impact of climate change on some of England's most vulnerable coastlines.

ALT Photo of a tv screen playing Digging for Britain season 12 episode 5. From left to right: Richard Osgood, Adam Gwilt, me and Alice Roberts are standing in front of a table where an Iron Age bridle bit and chariot miniature are displayed. Adam is talking and we’re all looking at him.
The 3D model we built for the project outreach is featured!!!
I may have shouted at the TV in excitement 😂

One of the veterans we supported this year on @DigWaterloo is running the London marathon to raise money for the project! 💚
Please consider sharing or donating. Every bit helps. gofund.me/ccaaee3c
I'm slowly making my way over to Bluesky, so if I've not followed you yet I'm @digging-kit.bsky.social (and no I can't figure out how to stop the digging being a hyperlink...)
But seriously though, @DigWaterloo is amazing project, and it always pops up in my life when I need it most. This years dig helped me just as much as it did the veterans 💚
Childhood dream ticked! Offically on Time Team!

Look! A thing I poured blood, sweat, and tears into!
I had to teach myself how to use UE5, Blender, and edit videos to make this educational video for use in schools. Not bad under the circumstances! 😁
Explore our virtual reality roundhouse in this new video!
Aimed at Key Stage 2 classes, you’ll get an introduction to archaeology before diving into a guided tour of our VR Iron Age settlement, inspired by real roundhouses from the @A428Cat excavations.
