Gloria Steinem was a fearless trailblazer who transformed the fight for equality in America and inspired generations of women to know their power.
Her voice, courage and relentless advocacy helped break down barriers and open doors once firmly closed to women.
May it be a comfort to all of us who loved Gloria that her extraordinary legacy will live on in every generation that carries her fight forward.

MAGA Republicans DO NOT CARE about the harm they cause: first they ripped away food aid and healthcare from millions in Trump's Big Ugly Bill; now they risk more blood and treasure in his reckless war in Iran.
This will change when Democrats VOTE with a #BlueWaveIn100Days!

I was in Pittsburgh this week for the @democrats.org DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee -- broken elbow and all -- and it was worth it.
Here's why.

California's firefighters and first responders have our backs when we need them most.
As Governor, I'll have their backs, too—fighting for fair wages, strong benefits, safe working conditions, and the support they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
Thank you to @CAFirefighters for your endorsement and your unwavering service to our state.

My parents came to California with $12 in their pocket and belief in the California Dream.
Their sacrifice and determination shaped who I am - and why I’m running for Governor: to fight every single day for working Californians and make sure that dream is still within reach for the next generation.

SEIU CA agrees: workers over billionaires.
Grateful for the trust and endorsement of the workers who are the backbone of California - keeping our hospitals running, our schools and colleges supported, our public services functioning, and our communities cared for every day.
From healthcare and long-term care to education, public service, transportation, and frontline essential work, they show up for all of us.

Republicans' so called SAVE Act isn’t about election integrity — it’s about blocking WOMEN voters because GOP policies hurt women most and they know WOMEN WILL VOTE THEM OUT.
They should rename it for their INTENT to the SAVE THE REPUBLICANS FROM DEFEAT Act.

We fought. We won! We stood up against an unfair candidate debate set-up that prematurely chose winners and losers. Tonight USC made the right decision to cancel their March 24 gubernatorial forum…so hopefully next time it’s done right.
Thank you to everyone who stood up, raised hell and demanded justice. Never give up when you’re fighting for fairness!

NEW: The leaders of CA’s legislature sent this letter to USC’s President asking him to expand the field for their Governor’s debate on ABC7 tomorrow.
They say if USC doesn’t “do the right thing,” voters should “boycott.”
They claim the university’s criteria process was “biased” and excluded all candidates of color.
