I went back to explore @FungoLabs tokenomics and there's more to $FUNGO than its 10 billion fixed supply. A few things caught my attention. 1. No investor round or presale. The entire 10B supply is fixed, with no additional minting or trading tax. 82.5% is unlocked at TGE, with the remaining supply unlocking by month 48. 2. Communities get a major share. 46% is allocated to airdrops: • Genesis NFT holders: 36% (3.6B FUNGO). • Zama OG holders: 7% (700M FUNGO). • X Campaign: 3% (300M FUNGO). Zama OGs are eating good! 3. Liquidity and buybacks. 34% goes into the FUNGO/ZAMA pool, with its LP position permanently locked. Of the specified launchpad fees, 20% goes towards weekly buybacks and burns, 20% goes to Genesis NFT holders, and 60% goes to the treasury. 4. Genesis NFTs have ongoing benefits. Beyond their initial airdrop, holders share 20% of launchpad fees and receive a share of 5~20% of every drop token launched on the platform. 5. FUNGO has utility. Holders can stake FUNGO for early access to launchpad sales. Studios can also lock FUNGO to improve their drops' visibility on Explore. What I find interesting is how Fungo connects token incentives to actual launchpad activity rather than making FUNGO purely speculative. Its good to be early as possible to chains because of the rewards potential will have the best odds of succeeding before its all over the timeline. Still think there’s plenty of alpha in Elysium.
