Outside it's hot. Inside it's STEAMY.

ALT The recent controversy around “Rubberz” by Shorline Mafia rapper Fenix Flexin is a perfect example of this dynamic in action. It sounds very much like what I would expect to hear if a rap producer uploaded a rough demo to Suno and asked for a new version that sounds like a U.K. synthpop hit from the eighties. Even if it didn’t exhibit all the telltale sonic hallmarks of AI, “Rubberz” is a perfect example of what these models make possible: it can do for the entire sound of a record what Auto-Tune does for vocals. It can turn an initial idea that’s a bit wobbly and diffuse into something coherent and professional, albeit uncanny. Instead of just correcting pitch, Suno can “correct” every single creative decision that goes into making a record.
