What if you could install @omarchy on your iPad with a simple app?
13.2 percent. That is the share of sampled 100-metre footpath stretches in 12 Indian cities that someone could walk without a break.
The figure comes from the State of Indian Streets Report 2026 by Neural City, a firm that sells street assessments. To count, a stretch needs clear space, a smooth surface, enough width and no gaps.
Caleb Friesen, host of the Indian tech channel Runtime, posted a walk with a video-game overlay, writing, "Going for a walk in India often feels like a video game." On the footpath he lists holes, hoardings, construction and electrical boxes. Then he walks on the road beside autos, buses and water tankers.
So why does a gap in the footpath matter? It sends walkers onto the road, as the video shows. India's road transport ministry counted 35,221 pedestrians killed in 2023.
In June 2026, India's Supreme Court declared a fundamental right to walk on demarcated footpaths.
A court can declare that right. The survey checks whether the footpath lets anyone use it.

Our @Omarchy group chat now has 400 members!
It has become much more successful, much faster, than I had anticipated. Really awesome to see how this community is growing.
Omarchy group chat is very welcoming and open, developing projects together and helping each other out.
Fact for fun:

Native person here!
1. Use Timo(VP bank) or Techcome bank
2. Use a 12T5G125 Viettel SIM; you can buy it from an office store or the black market
3. No need for HE; in Vietnam, medical expenses are quite cheap. You can buy any medicine at a LongChau/Pharmacity store

I want to show you guys something really wild.
Claude Opus 5.5 basically one-shotted an explainer video for this paper, and it's incredible!
After watching the video, I feel like I have a decent understanding of how JEM works!
Check it out:
This paper went completely under the radar!
Meta researchers have developed a novel and simple self-supervised learning framework competitive with DINOv2 and DINOv3!
"Scalable Patch-Level Self-Supervised Learning"
The authors introduce JEM, a principled student-teacher method that learns to align patch representations across different views. Additionally, it incorporates explicit regularization to ensure representations are informative and prevent structural collapse.
The framework outperforms DINOv2 in a controlled setting on dense tasks, and even beats the DINOv3 checkpoint despite it being trained on 12x less data.
Schools and colleges are cooked 🍚
biology class can be a lot more fun.
so I had claude opus 5.5 build a 3D biology book that lets you watch it happen.
this is stop 3: how your breakfast gets digested in the small intestine.
the whole book follows one carbon atom from your porridge:
bowl → mouth → small intestine → gut wall → heart → muscle → lungs → leaf → field → back into next year’s porridge
what do you think?
Cool 😎, I will give new life to all my ipads
i described the process here xitter.cf/henrikklee/status/2114…
will create a more focused guide to bringing up new devices
basically you need a coding agent, point it to github.com/OrchardLinux/omar… and ask it to get it work on your iPad, step by step
It will guide you through the process and figure it out
I recommend Pi (pi.dev/) + Codex but you can also use Codex app itself or Claude Code

Our website (topsailappliances.com) is growing steadily and bringing in real leads every week. But there’s still a massive amount of unlocked potential.
I’m looking for an SEO/AEO whiz for a remote gig.
Someone who actually knows what they’re doing, will take full ownership, and exponentially scale our organic growth.
We have the content. We need more eyeballs, stronger rankings, and most of all, top-tier visibility in AI search.
If that’s you, email [email protected]. Include your proof of work, case studies, and a quick note on why you're the right fit.
P.S. Only email if you truly believe in the Build in Bharat mission. 🇮🇳

If you have a spare iPad 6, you can install Omarchy on it with one command:
github.com/OrchardLinux/omar…
Requirements:
- Mac or Linux computer
- iPad 6th generation
- ~10-20 GB free disk space on the iPad
- USB cable
No build required, the installer will download and install everything automatically
You will only have to make room for Linux on the iPad first, which is another command launching the Resize app on your iPad
Anyone with an iPad 6 willing to try?
Warning: This is experimental. Back up your data first. Not for production use yet

₹15 crore a year. That is what Harsh Goenka, chairman of RPG Enterprises, says Prasar Bharati can spend on a DD News show with a star anchor.
Prasar Bharati runs India's public broadcaster, including DD News. Indian Express and Newslaundry reported in March 2025 on talks with Essprit Productions, the firm of news anchor Sudhir Chaudhary. The figure was ₹15 crore a year plus tax for a weekday hour, 260 episodes, with research, production and scripting. Prasar Bharati supplies the studio. The fee covers production, not a published personal salary.
Goenka sets that against the ISRO chairman's basic pay, about ₹27 lakh a year. Basic pay is only the first line of a government package. Dearness allowance and other benefits sit on top.
So are the two figures the same kind of money? One buys hundreds of hours of television production. The other is the base of a civil-service package for India's space chief.
Goenka says "our rewards must match our ambitions." The documents measure different things.

If Prasar Bharati can spend ₹15 crore a year on a DD News show featuring a star anchor, while the ISRO Chairman’s basic pay is about ₹27 lakh a year, shouldn’t we rethink our priorities? If India wants to conquer space and attract our finest scientific minds, our rewards must match our ambitions.

My govt hospital doesn't have a ECG technician , regular ecg cases are handled by LT staffs on duty
But when I ask for a emergency ECG in ward for a critical illness patient or brought dead patient, LT staffs & nurses play twinkle twinkle little star with each other , you do , you do
And in that loop , patient suffers... and doctor gets irritated...
