Elon Musk warned about the Ukraine war years ago, and it's absolutely tragic how accurately he predicted the devastating cost of human lives from this conflict
Back in October 2022, Elon didn't just call for peace. He actually proposed a peace plan involving UN-supervised votes in occupied regions, recognizing Crimea as Russian, guaranteeing its water supply, and Ukraine remaining neutral
He warned that continuing this war would bring devastating death and destruction, with countless young Ukrainians and Russians losing their lives
And look at what's happened since then
More than 2 MILLION military casualties, entire cities destroyed, millions of people forced from their homes, and the war is still going on with no lasting peace
Elon faced enormous backlash for proposing a path toward peace, but the human cost he warned about has become an absolutely horrifying reality
And that's what makes this so tragic. These are human beings with parents, families, loved ones, and entire lives ahead of them, not disposable pieces on some geopolitical chessboard
How many more young people have to die in trenches before ending this endless slaughter becomes just as important as deciding who wins the war?
Elon saw the devastating human cost of a prolonged war coming years ago, and instead of taking his warning seriously, people attacked him for even putting a peace proposal on the table
Just imagine how many lives could have been saved if a lasting peace had been reached years earlier
How much more death and destruction will it take before ending this meat grinder becomes the priority??

Americans have been trying to tell you Europeans for decades that disarming yourselves was idiotic - that personal weapons in the hands of civilians are actually a force for order and stability, precisely because they constrain criminals and rioters.
The French police are overwhelmed. Because of course they are. Large-scale, decentralized threats to civil order have to be met with a large-scale, decentralized response - people defending their homes and businesses, using the threat and, if required, the actuality of lethal force.
If the riots in France teach this lesson, at least some good will have come from them.
Once again, I think we have really crossed a line tonight and entered completely new territory, nothing of the sort has ever happened before.
There are groups of hoodlums roaming the city and openly terrorizing people while in many places the cops are nowhere to be seen.
The violence of yesterday was shocking, but it wasn't the first time we had seen far-left activists and gangs of hoodlums opportunistically join the protests to cause mayhem and loot.
But I grew up in France and have been obsessively following French social and political events for more than 20 years and I have never seen anything like that.
If you look at the tweet he is replying to, it's another video showing a similar group kicking in the door of a residential building to break in. It's Clockwork Orange stuff at this point.

Some quick thoughts on @lpnh's X ban:
1) It is exceedingly disappointing to see X cave to government pressure and engage in this type of political censorship.
2) LPNH is exploring a lawsuit against the New Hampshire government and has already sent both right-to-know and preservation requests.
3) Yes, you should still vote straight Republican in November. I know it sucks and feels gross. But the time for revenge against Ayotte is years down the road, not this November.
4) Do not attack any Republicans who condemned or said anything negative about LPNH aside from Ayotte. It's okay for them to do what they need to do to get elected. No elected Free Stater actually has a problem with LPNH, it's all just kayfabe.
5) Notice how many libertarians have "last man"-style morality. They are flat, domesticated, soft human beings with no philosophy, sophistication or will. Slaves not to the government, but to themselves. A person who seeks approval from those who want him dead deserves pity and nothing more.
6) I will always celebrate evil perishing. Many Free Staters will. Part of the benefit of being in New Hampshire is not being trapped in the rotten egalitarian moral framework that has become pervasive worldwide. It is good when the democrats who wish to enslave Free State children die. All Free Staters should feel comfortable saying this with their head high.
7) Follow @freestatepty if you want to see what I'm building next (though do not expect LPNH 2.0, it's quite different)
8) Move to New Hampshire if you want to experience the best possible place to live and the deep satisfaction that comes from advancing solutions to the most fundamental problems.

Lots of talk about the gun policies of other countries following the terrible shooting in Oregon.
We actually have a perfect case study with our neighbor to the north.
Canada has always had a much lower homicide rate than ours, even when their gun laws were much more similar to our own.
Beginning in 2019 though, Canada massively cracked down on guns. Among many other changes, in 2022 the country banned the sale of new handguns. That's the longtime dream of the American antigun movement.
Also in 2022, the US went a very different direction, as the Bruen ruling forced several large states to finally begin issuing carry permits. Around the same time, many large states like Florida and Texas went even further and embraced permitless carry. The antigunners all predicted doom, as usual.
And the result?
Homicide has fallen faster in the US than Canada since 2019, and the difference is even more dramatic if you start counting in 2022. We are also set to decline even more in homicide this year, based on FBI data for the first six months of 2026.
In fact, Canada only finally saw a decline below the 2019 level in 2025. Every other year was above the 2019 baseline.
The gun control movement's core premises are bullshit.

You protected your pedophile rapists friends instead of women who were raped when they were just teenage girls and you STILL REFUSE to release the Epstein files.
You started an unprovoked war with Iran that the vast majority of Americans do NOT support. You killed hundreds of children at a school in Iran and innocent people and are responsible for 21 U.S. service members deaths and 865 wounded. Your stupid war that you claim you have won like 50 times has destroyed our bases in the Middle East and hundreds of billions of dollars worth of military equipment and weapons, while depleting our weapons and ammunitions.
You are supporting, funding, and aiding genocide in Gaza that has resulted in approximately 22,000 children murdered, thousands of children with amputations, and over 70,000 orphans. And your so called Board of “Peace” has done nothing to stop war and is planning to oversee the very profitable reconstruction and take over of Gaza. One can only guess who all will get those blood money contracts, the Epstein class and associates.
And let’s talk about the basics that every single US president is supposed to guarantee to its citizens. Affordable cost of living and affordable fuel in which you have 100% failed to deliver and actually driven inflation and irresponsibly driven the cost of gasoline and diesel to record high levels.
So did you do something wrong?
Yes in summary, YOU are the snake that you warned us all about in the poem you read over and over.
You never cared about putting America first or making America great again.
You are the deep state, the Epstein class, and America last.
