Tried @paper from a developer POV, made their shaders interactive and brought them to the DOM.

Paper Mono!
sooo excited to finally release our free and beautiful mono font
it works incredibly well for design, coding, and even prose, and it’s packed with features: variable font weight, coding ligatures, duospacing (!) for long-form text, and more.
sound on:

Working on a new game. The engine is pulling a lot of weight to make the demo run on Chromebook tier hardware. This scene alone has:
- 6 Mil Triangles
- More than 400(!) 2k textures
- Hundreds of Local Lights & Characters
All of this in WebGL2 :)

We are releasing → classcad.ai today: AI driven embeddable CAD. If you ever enjoyed my OSS projects (zustand, react-spring, r3f, pmndrs), these all came out of CC. 🍻
A small 🇨🇭 team has been working on CAD for so many years, release seemed always out of reach. This is a huge milestone for us and i'd appreciate a RT. 🙏

Testing out Pi's new support MCP in @paper
looks to be working great (and fast too)

the PaperTexture shader has been rebuilt from scratch!
what’s new:
- a new pattern with straight fold lines
- a new angle prop to control shadow direction (combine it with seed for endless randomness)
- roughnessSize to control the grain size
- roughnessRows to arrange the grain into laid-paper stripes
- manual blending control over how the image mixes with the paper texture
- manual control over image distortion
- texture clipping via the image’s alpha channel
the roughness, fiber, drops, wrinkles, and crumples patterns are all still here, rebuilt for a more realistic look and better performance

new! @paper's paper shader
goal: make the best paper filter for your designs
what's new?
fold lines, wrinkles, crumples, stripes, clipping, and five new patterns. plus image blends, better quality and faster performance
paper shaders: open source, always improving
ok, busiest week of the quarter and the power goes out. no screens, no agents - but I still had to explore something
forgot how good it feels to make something by hand, especially while AI devours the internet
this is what the last few months felt like btw, launching soon 🔥

⛩️ Just released Waku v1.0.0-rc.2!
Waku keeps the framework minimal, so you can build your app with modern React and keep full control.

📦 Chrome 154 - Responsive iframe resizing 🤯
Letting an <iframe> resize based on the size of its embedded document
Haven't all widget/extension authors dreamed of this for years? 😆
Instead of using postMessage({resize})
