Replying to @carlquintanilla
@carlquintanilla… in October 2023, @elonmusk told investors Cybertruck demand was "off the charts" and that more than a million people had reserved one.
Kelley Blue Book puts US sales since then at roughly 71,000. That is about 7% of the reservations. This morning he announced he is winding down production.
A journalist might ask him two questions. What happened to the other 930,000? And were those ever orders, or $100 refundable deposits that worked as free advertising?
Then, when the bulls come on your air, why not press them on why none of them has cut their forward ests. on $TSLA? If the million reservations were part of the case for the stock (which they 100% were in 2023), it seems fair to ask what the case is now, no? $TSLA
