I wonder if this is a hot take or a mild one but I really want the cyber cab rear mirror feed on my Y.
I use the trunk window cover to help with heat. Even if I didn’t the Y doesn’t have the greatest rear window visibility.
So @Tesla @elonmusk @aelluswamy what about it?
(And let’s not forget car wash toggle and boom box control on the app please 🙏)

Tesla said today that they’re rebuilding the entire in-vehicle navigation system from the ground up with AI. It’s going to have voice integration, and will learn your personalized preferences:
Ashok: “It’s only right that we shouldn’t be depending on external people’s maps. So we are building our own maps, but not like the same way as traditional maps.
We are building an entire new architecture with essentially AI-based mapping and navigation. It’s going to be super awesome. It’s going to be integrated with voice. You can talk to it and ask for different routes. It’s going to learn your personalized preferences, plus also the fleet preferences. The collective intelligence of all the cars are going to flow into making the maps and navigation.
You’ll see the start and end of trips already use this technology pretty soon as part of the V15 release. Over the next several months, it’s just going to take over all of the navigation functions, parking, destination handling. We’ll know you better than you know yourself in some regard for the driving tasks. It’ll handle it fully.”
Can’t wait for V15. It’s going to include so many new features.

Replying to @Scobleizer
True.
You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient.
Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.

Roadster transforms in Track Mode
These aero features aren't just for looks: they provide the best passive downforce package of any road car (approaching F1 levels!) with wing actuation driven by the @Tesla_Optimus actuator system
Roadster is a true pilot's car: active aerodynamics, a multi-mode suction system & cold-gas thrusters
Exterior
– Concealed headlights, full-length taillight & flush-mounted surfaces for a minimalist, highly technical form
– Super light wheels w/ thin spokes that reinforce structural strength when earthbound
– Ano White paint brings an aerospace-derived finish w/ UV & cryogenic protection, electrostatic dissipation & corrosion resistance
– Gold Glazed tinted glass mimicking the copper coating of spacesuit visors, w/ subtle titanium accents
Configurations
– Performance: road ready, seats 2
Active aerodynamics & multi-mode suction system for next-level performance on & off the track
– Thrust: race ready, seats 2
Multi-mode suction system paired w/ rear-mounted cold-gas thrusters that enable 0–60 in <1 second
– Rocket: air ready, seats 1
Multi-mode suction system plus perimeter-mounted cold-gas thrusters supporting forward & upward acceleration plus lateral rotational movement. So...yes, it can fly
Range >300 miles
Top speed up to >230mph (Rocket)

I’m pretty sure it was @mikepat711 that linked a grokbot for wrapping the car in the app. Made me a sick little Lego Vader one. Had to show it off. Good stuff.
I don’t know why this bothers me so much. I just am curious to understand the logic fsd uses here. Minor complaint. Not unsafe.
Consistently moves from lanes a to b and sits in the worst lane for traffic here just to keep going straight. Then goes back to the faster lane as soon as it’s through the interchange. Every time. This is consistent at this location but pretty repeatable at every interchange I go through.
If the lanes go straight why not just stay where it is @teslasi ? @aelluswamy
What happened to this? Wild we don’t have it yet. 🙏

Emergency Drive Away lets you shift into Drive while still plugged into a Supercharger
I am the first person to say FSD is safe. I would put my grandmother if she were still alive in it. But it’s decision making for lanes needs work.
Two issues I have every drive.
First. It loves to move from the fast to the slow lane at *every* freeway interchange. Zero reason to go from the number 1 lane to the slower just for two hundred feet - at the detriment of the driver and then go back.
Secondly. Passing on the right. It doesn’t take into account that sometimes the one your in is splitting. And you get awkward moments like this.
Man. iOS 27.0.1 basically broke my iPhone Air and my 18 pro. Keyboard freezing, app freezing, messages crash constantly at work where I need them.
Shit show.

Saw my first cyber cab earlier in the week. Beautiful car. Kind of wish I could take my rearview mirrors off my 26Y now.
Shocked me. Didn’t expect to see one in the valley.
I’ll take one.

Grok @bot is in the Tesla now.
I used it to order Starbucks while FSD drove. No phone, just voice. Confirmed the drink and total, then it placed the order.
This is the first thing that actually feels like the car can run an errand with you.
Currently available to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers, with more tiers to follow
Let me know what I should test ordering next from the car!
If you have any questions about Grok Bot in the car and how it works let me know and I will do my best to answer.
