This week on “Catch the Pace,” Dr. Pace highlights how Henry County Schools is connecting students with real-world career experiences through Work-Based Learning. Through partnerships with local employers, Southern Crescent Technical College, community agencies, and other organizations, students have opportunities to explore careers, develop valuable skills, and gain hands-on experience while still in high school. Dr. Pace is joined by Dutchtown High School student Jasper Williams at Piedmont Henry Hospital, where she is gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field as she works toward her goal of becoming a nurse anesthetist. With Work-Based Learning instructors at every HCS high school helping students develop employability skills, find opportunities, and prepare for their futures, HCS is proud to help students discover their positive purpose and build bright futures right here in Henry County.
