Oh look. Arab parties are represented fully in the Knesset. Just like Christians and Jews are represented in Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, and the rest of the Noble Muslim countries. Oh no, wait. Non-Muslims have largely disappeared across all of the 56 countries comprising the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
🚨🇮🇱 BREAKING:
Israel's election has produced a HUNG KNESSET, and neither Netanyahu nor Eisenkot can govern alone.
With 100% of regular ballots counted, Netanyahu's bloc stands at 53 seats, while Eisenkot's opposition bloc has 48, both short of the 61 needed for a majority.
The Arab parties now hold a potentially decisive 19 seats: the Joint List with 12 and Ra'am with 7.
One major piece remains: roughly 600,000 double-envelope ballots still need to be counted, with final results expected tomorrow.
For now, neither Netanyahu nor Eisenkot has a majority, putting the Arab parties at the center of the battle to form Israel's next government.

While the Arab List - which is openly and proudly anti-Zionist - has suggested it would be prepared to be in a bloc with him, Eisenkot appears to be rejecting their overtures by explicitly saying he wants to form a Zionist government. He is also rejecting the ultra orthodox who are seen as anti-Zionist.
He hasn’t here rejected working with another Arab party, Ra’am.

Palestinians in West Bank haven't voted since 2006, stuck under a 90 year old dictator.
Lebanese Palestinians don't even get the citizenship.

This man can ‘believe’ whatever he wishes, but the simple truth that his Irish passport, or him being Irish, had any relevance in this decision, is incorrect.
I know this because there are Irish people, as I write this, who are entering Israel right now with no impedance, and Irish people living and working within Israel freely. Heck, the modern state of Israel wouldn’t exist today if it weren’t for the roles that Irish men and women played in its founding. If you don’t believe me, look up the early stages of the creation of the IDF, and who supplied the tanks that Israel used to defend itself against several Arab armies.
Israel has every right, as does any country, to refuse admittance to any individual that poses national security concerns, and is quite clearly and openly anti that country. It’s called border control. That really shouldn’t come as a shock to anybody.
You can tell yourself whatever you want, but that doesn’t make it any more the truth.
