If a “woke mind virus” ever existed doesn’t that imply other “mind viruses” can exist?

The fact Bolsonaro *also requested the 2hr extension* substantially weakens his case.
BREAKING:
Flávio Bolsonaro is refusing to concede Brazil's presidential election and says he will seek to have the election annulled after losing to President Lula.
He's citing a Supreme Court justice's last-minute two-hour voting extension — which his own campaign had also requested.
Brazil's electoral court has officially declared Lula the winner, with approximately 51.8% of the vote to Bolsonaro's 48.2%.

I asked ChatGPT to depict what a Cheesecake Factory would look like if Saddam Hussein applied his tastes to it and... yeah. This is very Trumpy.

"up by double-digit percentages".
Cites a data source that has single digit numbers. Disregarded as non serious.
Violent subway felonies (murder, rape, rob, assault) are up by double-digit percentages since the consistent pre-2020 era. This is not really in dispute. People can add them up for themselves if they want.

So it feels like the choice to support pedophilia is deliberate at this point in Republican politics.
We cannot normalizing the Epsteinization of our political class.
Shame on @VivekGRamaswamy for platforming this woman in his campaign ad.

The movie does a great job of helping regular people understand two very different types of liars. The first type intentionally deceives people. The second type creates a fantasy world for themselves and other people to inhabit. The second type is much more dangerous.

You need a diversified portfolio of friends:
> crypto (friends you hide from your parents)
> gold (childhood friends)
> growth stocks (friends with questionable judgment but unlimited potential)
> international (friends with a free place to stay abroad)
> index funds (friends who fit in with any friend group)
> bonds (boring but will pick you up from the airport)
> cash (friends you can call at 2am when everything goes wrong)
> real estate investments (friends who reliably show up once a month)
> meme stocks (friends who are objectively terrible influences but incredibly fun to be around)

I believe the opposite.
As your wealth increases, I think you should dress a certain way and buy certain things, as doing so employs tailors, artists, and craftspeople. These trades are dying from a lack of patronage.
In the past, these trades flourished under wealthy patrons who valued beauty and craftsmanship, sometimes producing things that benefited the broader public, such as creating beautiful libraries and museums. Today's elites seem more interested in optimizing their health and wealth, pursuits largely confined to themselves.
A tailor who makes clothes for wealthy clients has a steady stream of income. In doing so, they can also take on side projects, such as making clothes for films and theatre. Without the first, they risk going out of business, and the public consequently suffers.

Russia does not currently have excess diesel fuel that it can export (in fact, it currently has an export ban). So none of this will happen.
This is just Putin humiliating Trump again, making him look like the supplicant, and further delaying tougher US sanctions to end the war.
Trump: "I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel."
Inflation Reduction Act passed *after* inflation rose and inflation came down after it passed. Nice try.
Previously Republicans tried to blame the inflation on $1400 stimulus checks but the clown in office now is promising $5,000 checks.

Biden's inflation was left over from Trump I and was down to normal by the end of his term. Trump ran on rolling prices back to what they were, instead he brought the inflation back.

Whether it's Bill Clinton using tax-payer money to pay for postage on letters sent to people who wrote to his cat or Donald Trump steering hundreds of millions of dollars of contracts to his son's companies, both presidents engaged in corruption on an unprecedented scale.

Honestly, though, today should reassure us that the Right is not going to win.
Dumb, hard-working people can beat you.
Lazy, talented people can beat you.
But dumb, wilfully lazy people are not going to beat you.
This is a good example of the Putin Mentality. A great nation has to be doing something in the present tense. It is a duty, not a status and if you don't do it, it won't get done.
The Putin mindset is to not do anything great but remind everyone over and over that you're great.

‘We’ as in Americans, genius. You can’t simultaneously claim that the US isn’t the greatest country on Earth while also begging to come here to be a part of that success. Feel free to keep your exceptional talent in whatever Wakanda you come from. I’m sure your more than mediocre talents will lift that place into the stratosphere any day now
You mean she 'knew' him as the face of the guy who lived in the downstairs apartment. Again the problem here is Knox truthers seem to be arguing this is one of the most unusual murders in all of criminal history when Occam's Razor would say it was actually banal.
