The irony is this “shariah compliant way” sounds nothing like Abdul but very much like the modern right’s agenda for women.

The fundamental issue that climate hushers are missing is that the economy needs a steady engine. AI’s not it. That only leaves on option: joint investments in prosuctive green infrastructure, urban devt (housing & transit), and care. Aka, the GND 2.0.

We need enhanced Medicare for All. I’ve fought for it for over 30 years and would bring the fight to the House with a vengeance.

Exactly backwards. Obama distanced himself from some of Wright's rhetoric, but the headline was that he *refused* to disavow him, saying it would be like disavowing his own mother. Liberals correctly interpreted that as an act of defiance against people like you.
When the Jeremiah Wright story broke in 2008, Obama delivered a speech explaining exactly why Wright’s anti-American garbage was wrong. That ended the crisis. Abdul has not done anything like that. So what are Haley’s supporters supposed to think. He won a 51-49 primary and has done nothing to win over the 49. That’s not Haley’s fault. That’s on Abdul.

My heart breaks for the parents of the UWS barn owl nest. You don’t get the first barn owl nest in Manhattan in modern history without them, of course. They already overcame so much adversity to hatch and rear five owlets before the nest was destroyed.

"political coalition of Black and Jewish voices"
When someone uses the "voices" euphemism for a person or for people it usually means they have no intention of listening to actual people. It indicates instead claiming, almost always falsely, to represent the marginalized.
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has.
On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit.
The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. Full statement here:

For too long, Third Avenue in Brooklyn has been deadly. We are changing that.
We will transform Third Avenue to protect pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. And across this city, we are making the most dangerous streets safer for New Yorkers.

EL-SAYED: RFK JR. was in town this week. He said that the 500 million Arabs in the world had never contributed anything to science. But to be fair, he is an expert on people who never contributed anything to science.
He didn't bother to show up when 8000 people were infected by the shit lettuce. But he wants to come here and lecture you about potentially electing and arab-american to the U.S. Senate
