Gov. Brian Kemp has appointed Augusta-area U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian K. Epps to the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Epps has served on the federal bench in Augusta for the past 13 years and will fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Brian M. Rickman.

Proud of our amazing cousin, @cathyhelms, who was honored tonight for a Traditions of Excellence award at the State Bar of Georgia annual meeting for her impactful professional career. As her husband Jeff described, she "has a spine of steel and a heart of gold." Applauding you tonight, cousin-friend!
