On the Trump admin’s request to SCOTUS to allow Big Bend area wall to continue:
The President received a mandate from the American people to build a wall, defeat the cartels, and stop the flow of illegal aliens and dangerous drugs like fentanyl into our country. The Secretary’s authority to build that wall is clear as day, as reflected in DHS’s consistent court victories in similar cases. The court’s order is as unprecedented as it is flawed, and we look forward to the Supreme Court’s expeditious consideration of this important question.

Katie Zacharia was in her office with the @WSJ when Jason Miller knocked on the door.
“JD wanted to chat with us real quick."
Outside Trump was telling reporters he asked her to reconsider the role.
She never returned to the interview, or the job.

NYE '24: @KenPaxtonTX was in Dubai, partying with two U.S. fugitives and a woman who wasn't his wife.
See video from the night and read why it epitomizes the travels, associations & baggage that may now be a campaign liability against @jamestalarico 👇

In Dubai, Paxton and his girlfriend watched fireworks at a party with two fugitives who had failed to return to the U.S. to face federal healthcare fraud charges. One of them, Anosh Ahmed, had donated $190,000 to Paxton.

Paxton is known for surviving controversy. He's weathered indictment, impeachment, various investigations and an accusation of pen-theft.
Trump dismissed worries that other revelations could surface. But amid a vicious race, could it matter this year?
