Nobody embodies NYC more than Sliwa, full of contradictions that only makes sense if you grew up in the outerboros.
It’s funny that Zohran is increasingly careful about everything he says while the republican candidate he ran against is in public like “I like Trotsky”.

100 gecs with a purdie shuffle is a brand new sentence
100 gecs seems to be back in the studio. The even better news: they're in the studio with drum legend Bernard Purdie. Purdie famously collaborated with icons including Aretha Franklin, Gil Scott-Heron, James Brown, Nina Simone, Quincy Jones, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, and even contributed to some Steely Dan recordings. Really, his catalog is too expansive to try to sum up in a caption, but you should really take a look for yourself.

Conan dog walked him so hard. When a random lady with no prep has better rapport with your interview guest than you, it's time to end it
A typically boring affair, but I'm pleased that Conan cut him off before he could trot out some prepared material about what statue should go up in Dimes Square.

Does anyone even take ESPN seriously anymore? Probably 3 people at most in that list I'd consider worth listening to
None of ESPN’s experts think the Knicks will repeat

If safety was a concern, there wouldn't be teams in Memphis and New Orleans, which have higher crime rates than CDMX.
There is absolutely no way a team is ever planting in Mexico City. Travel, safety, and economics make that nearly impossible. You’re telling me you’re going to have guys living in Mexico City 6 months out of the year? Then you’re going to play games at over 7200 feet? Oh and traveling back and forth through there regularly? How this is being used as any kind of leverage is absolutely bonkers.

As someone from PR, Somos has always been weird AF. Having a bunch of political folks go to PR for a weekend, stay in 5-star hotels, and party in between meetings that could've taken place in NY accomplishes nothing but provide an excuse for a paid vacation.
As we approach my favorite time of year, I have to ask if it’s ethical to send hundreds of NY’s drunkest politicos to PR during an energy crisis. Open bar events and schmoozing with NY democrats are literally my favorite things on earth but like this doesn’t feel right!

Brunson is currently the king of NY, but Jeter was national-level famous. If Brunson can win another title or two he can reach that level, but his normie recognition status doesn't go beyond the tri-state area.
Knicks championship was a bigger deal in the 5 boros than the Yankees run. Just look at the ticket prices tbh. Yankees maybe a bigger national brand but their fanbase is tilted more suburban and/or people who grew up rooting for them, the Knicks are the unifying force in NYC.

The first time I went to London I did not appreciate how tiny the City of London is compared to the Upper West Side.
The first time I came to New York I did not appreciate how tiny Manhattan is compared to London

Lmao she tagged everyone except the person in charge of all this
.@JFKairport you have 3 people working customs. One for US, one for international, one for global entry. What the ever loving fuck. We landed at 10:30 and will quiet literally not get through until metro north has stopped running. @NYCMayor @Pontifex @elmo

First of all, lol. Second, why would a medical doctor oppose a safety measure that would reduce pedestrian fatality risk to 5% or less and serious injury risk to 18% if impacted by a vehicle traveling at 20 mph?
Time to start investigating @CB7Manhattan as a govt agency that is working on behalf of lobbyists. Ken Coughlin who has personally lobbied on behalf of this organization to redesign @CentralParkNYC which has lead to the tragic deaths of nyers needs urgent attention. @NYC_DOI

Reduced height, reduced units, and increased parking. Bay Ridge better like higher rents and increased congestion!
Every Ivan & Evan on here who can’t find Bay Ridge on a map, much less ever choose to live here, love to tell me what we need. The parking is sub-cellar and didn’t take away from housing. The 20 fewer units are largely due to my demand for more family-sized units, which we lack.

Her 15 minutes are up and there's no more fouls to give
The Cornell gang bang participant and/or victim looks exactly like how you’d think she would and we all know what I mean by that and I trust there won’t be any misunderstanding

MTA: please remove every stop between 125th st and Wall St. It will inconvenience everyone, but will make my commute much faster
I ran a simulation built on 700 million real MTA trips. It said to close the 3rd Avenue L stop. stopthestop.com

The e-bike licensing/registration safety argument completely falls when you point out that we have thousands of vehicles in the city with unreadable, ghost, or no license plates. The drivers of these vehicles are overrepresented in speeding or illegally parking

The last few times I've tried taking a regular bike, they've been busted: haven't been serviced in a long time, under inflated tires, etc. It seems like regular bikes are not a priority for Lyft, and if given the chance, they'd switch to an all e-bike fleet.
Some people complain that Citibike is too expensive, but, good. Renting an ebike should be expensive. Ride a regular bike!
