Thank you @JohnCCECC. Ekiti Knowledge Zone is more than a physical infrastructure; it is a strategic investment in innovation, enterprise, and the future of our young people. #EkitiKnowledgeZone 1/3

I read on this Ekiti Knowledge Zone in September, and I was amazed with my little understanding of it. We really need to "Watch Ekiti rise."

This is definitely one of the most anticipated projects for me in Ekiti. I look forward to the completion of Ekiti Knowledge Zone. Let’s ship Ekiti to the world.

It’s been a hell of a week, with work and other engagements taking up most of my time. However, I have been following the conversations around Ekiti over the last few days, and I think it is important to put a few things in perspective. There have been several attempts to discredit Ekiti State and its good people over the last few days, particularly following the recent data released by StatiSense. Interestingly, while some have chosen to turn the conversation into an opportunity to attack the state, the figures tell a different story. According to StatiSense's 2026 Investment and Enterprise Score, Ekiti ranks 6th nationally, with a score of 48.2 out of 100, ahead of several states, including Oyo and Osun. We must learn to separate constructive criticism from attempts to misrepresent a state and its people. No state is without its challenges, and there is always room for improvement. However, the progress, opportunities and potential of Ekiti should not be overlooked, especially considering that it is one of the youngest states in the country. Ekiti is rising, and the conversation about its future must go beyond social media trends. The state will continue to move forward, whether anyone likes it or not.

I made a post when Ekiti broke ground on the Ekiti Knowledge Zone. Well, a few months later, things are beginning to take shape. China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), the project’s design and build contractor, is advancing construction at the site. What was once a vision on paper is gradually becoming reality. For decades, Ekiti has proudly carried the title of the Fountain of Knowledge. We have the intellectual capital, academic reputation and human resources. But the missing link has always been an ecosystem that can turn all that knowledge into industries, innovation, businesses and jobs. That’s the big idea behind EKZ. We are moving from being a state known for producing knowledge to one that can commercialise it, industrialise it and build an economy around it. The Fountain of Knowledge is taking shape as an economic destination. And once again, watch this space.

Ekiti? 3rd most literate state in NG (95.79%), lowest food inflation in 2025, IGR from 650m to 2.6bn, GDP doubled to 4.6trn, No.1 in fiscal transparency for 9 quarters. The real question is what is your state doing?. It’s how y’all always want to trend at the mention of Ekiti.
