Ekiti Knowledge Zone

The Ekiti State Government, under the leadership of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji remains committed to positioning the EKZ as a leading hub for innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, investment and sustainable job creation.

The mission represents an important milestone in strengthening implementation and advancing the Project towards its development objectives.

The team also held strategic discussions with PwC on the proposed Public-Private Partnership framework and operationalisation of the EKZ Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

Activities included stakeholder engagement visits to Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology; Ekiti State University; the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti; the EKZ project site; and the Ekiti State Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport.

The mission assessed implementation progress, results achieved, project management, procurement, financial performance, safeguards, private-sector participation and key implementation challenges, while agreeing on priority actions to accelerate project delivery.
