Yes!!!!! I wholeheartedly endorse microwaving scrambled eggs. I don’t know what it is, but every time they’re fluffier than when I make them on the stove.
I don’t know why this is, but eggs cooked in the microwave are SO much yummier than eggs cooked on the stovetop. I use José Andrés’ method: two eggs, a dollop of mayo, salt and pepper (I added shredded cheddar too). Whisk it all together and microwave for about a minute until fluffy. I finish with freshly grated Parmesan, green onions, chili crisp, and a little cracked black pepper. Not the prettiest eggs when done, but they’re ridiculously good!
When I was a kid I went to KD & on a coaster on the first upside down loop I slipped sideways under the harness & the left side was to the right of my head. I wrapped both arms around it & held on. I thought I was going to fall out & die. It was terrifying!
The cool thing is even if you follow this advice and refuse to “just accept” the pain, there is no real treatment for endo except surgery & managing symptoms. Know what my doctors gave me for 20 years to manage my symptoms? Ibuprofen! But 800mg so I only had to pop 1 pill, not 4.
Replying to @InchOrInfinity
And YES if your period is so painful you spend days needing to take painkillers every single month consistently just to get through it that IS often indicative of endo or fibroids or something else. Don't just accept you are in constant terrible pain bc you have a period.
I don’t know what the cause is, but it hurts like a bitch. It feels like someone is stabbing me with a screwdriver & twisting it.
you might literally ‘feel’ your ovulation
“Mittelschmerz” is a medical term for ovulation pain. It literally means “middle pain” in German… and it can affect up to 40% of women who ovulate
The exact cause of the pain is still unknown
some theories:
+ contractions around the ovarian follicle
+ prostaglandin activity around ovulation
+ the follicle changing and breaking open
+ fluid or a little blood entering the pelvis
