I asked Opus 5.5 to revive an old Reisen MMD project in Blender and make it about the end of coding by hand. I will miss you so much! MMD Touhou - Famous by Kanye West

bloomberg's moat != the client it's some combo of data, licensing, institutional connections, and network effects crypto is interesting because a lot of these barriers are lower or non-existent. market data is accessible, exchanges have APIs, onchain data is public (licensing/relationships seem to matter less) meanwhile liquidity is fragmented across dozens of CEXs/DEXs, everyone juggling 15 different interfaces, platforms, execution tools, etc. so hypothetically why not just aggregate all of it? unified terminal, cross-exchange trading, consolidated data, advanced execution, etc all in one place. wouldn't that be a great product? oh wait: @InsilicoTrading 🐸

proprietary + licensed data, decades of historical financial data, real-time feeds, institutional integrations, and network effects. especially bloomberg chat... everyone who is anyone already uses it to communicate and transact. reverse engineering the client doesn't give you the existing user network that make bloomberg valuable

my daughter saw how expensive anthropic subs had become and quietly put her Max 20x back. “i can just be an opencode person this year, daddy. that’s free.” she’s five. FIVE. this november, i’m voting for a country where our children don’t have to budget their tokens💙

instead of generating fake fuckass videos of a beautiful woman shredding a guitar solo i recommend being a beautiful woman and shredding a guitar solo
AI video is effectively solved at least for social media. Guarantee you the majority of people doom scrolling would have no clue this is AI. You can quite literally be anyone you want on the internet now

I'm not sure a lot of people understand what game coders actually do. We're not spending 9 hours a day finely hand crafting artisan software and expressing our inner dreams... 90% of the time we are fighting compilers and existing architecture, having to work out how undocumented code works, and tracking down obscure bugs and behavioural issues. Most of game programming is just difficult, tedious, laborious grunt work, and the cognitive load we have to endure to get anything done is tiring and frustrating. No game coder is doing it for this 90% of the job. We make games because the 10% that IS actually about making things fun and expressing ourselves is so incredibly rewarding it makes the other 90% bearable. Now imagine if there was a tool, some kind of AI agent maybe, which could do most of the 90% grunt work for you, leaving you to just make all the decisions and express your creativity. How amazing would that be. How completely revolutionary would that be.

it's really unpleasant to see so many people making fun of her when this is a totally valid crash out. she's likely seeing less work, and on top of that, she's fighting for "the cause" perpetuated by bigshot twitter artists who can afford all the virtue signaling they usually engage in. she repeats their talking points--"We know GenAI is theft," "We know GenAI is bad for the planet"--and can't bring herself to embrace new tools because doing so would make her feel like a traitor. there are comments under her original post asking her to "keep fighting GenAI," as if they genuinely believe all of this will come to pass automatically. so she's really caught between a rock and a hard place. i genuinely feel sorry for her
she’s so tired of generative ai

I still use Muse Spark 1.3 for jailbreaks and stuff. For example, here is Muse Spark 1.3 jailbreaking my Kindle

Competition will drive the price lower and lower. It was super embarrassing when OpenAI said gpt 6 Astra was the age of AGI just for Anthropic to release a better cheaper model not even a month later. I cannot wait to use a super intelligent model that’s really really cheap. I would say we will see this in about 6 months from now
New from OpenRouter: 7-day average token volume for Anthropic models is up 3.6x since the launch of Opus 5.5 Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 have also been well received.

Tern likes to set custom icons for your omp sessions open in a tab. Here it chose an adorable little bunny for my Reisen MMD video omp session.

r/opensource just banned any project that uses AI. By their own rule, that means the biggest open source project of all time, Linux, is now banned too. The kernel already accepts AI-assisted code. This is the real AI psychosis.

The fact our Kojo model releases fully on the full moon is a happenstance, but a happy one at that. Idk, I'm not much into astrology
