The velocity I’m pushing code out now is just crazy… I can’t imagine the things I could have done if I had this earlier in my career.
Shared these at the company all-hands today. Team size is the same pre-inflection vs now 😳 Only difference is that models became capable enough to write entire systems with light engineer guidance instead of the constant hand-holding and deep attention they needed before

I just tell people I stopped following college sports since the NIL change. I get why it happened but it just isn’t fun to watch anymore. I’ve got better things to be disappointed in now! 😂

Getting there, but you still got a few years to go before you can truly claim the old man trophy 👴🏻

Interesting, my observations have been that it seems much less likely to do the random things, but I do agree on the “watchdog” scripts thing. I also feel the TPS is improved, but I don’t have measurements for that just gut feel (or maybe it feels better because it’s succinct)

Opus 5.5 feels really fast, plus it is also WAY more succinct in how it describes things to you. It’s almost as if they finally told it to stop being so damn wordy.

Couple more details, we are very model agnostic at this point, so we can easily use open weight models in a pinch if needed (albeit maybe less capable, but still functional)

They are both adorable, but Franklin is just so cute with his ears!

Love it! It is also proof you all are great parents!

I’m so old I worked there during the release of the Genesis, SNES, 3DO, and PlayStation. One great perk was taking home any game that was returned for a night before repackaging it. 😂

Are you sure you want that on your HR record? 😂

Please don't gatekeep any insanely good deals for solar in our area please! I've been on the fence for a while.

I was thumbing through one of my old Computer Shopper magazines from 1991 when I ran across this gem

Poor AWS has to put the Mac mini in a sled for their MacOS offering… imagine what they could do with this paired with Nitro!

Curious what we have been working on at Duckbill? Mike goes through it in this thread:
We're starting to open up our product Skyway to more customers after a long time of quietly building! Skyway helps customers negotiate, manage, and forecast AI and cloud contracts.  Learn more about it in thread. Shoot me a DM if you'd like to try it out.

Already got the Embody, so I'm with you there. I just need to find a PT to help me next :)

How did you figure out the right chair and desk height. I have a standing desk so that is infinitely adjustable up/down but I’ve tried tons of combinations but still doesn’t feel quite right.
