Remember When? Mel Tucker was the Head Coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. After a decade in the NFL and notable CFB assistant stints under Saban, Smart, and Tressel, Tucker got his 1st HC job. He went 5-7 and then departed for the Michigan State HC job.

Deion Sanders will be paid over $10M per year the next 3 years if he stays. Buyout if he's fired is around $26M (75%). So, savings of over $2.5M per year. Hire a HC at $6M and it only costs about $3.5M in additional cost to make the change. That's very affordable.

Coach Prime said he hand picked the roster. Based on how it's going in 2026 so far, he told on himself. Like with Michael Jordan, great elite player, but when it came to recruiting and roster construction, something is off.
