Every single school recognized in the City of Chicago is a Catholic school. Yet @GovPritzker ended the child tax credit that allowed poor families to choose these excellent schools for their children.
Congratulations to all 24 schools across Illinois on your official recognition as a Governor’s Blue Ribbon School. You’ve all gone above and beyond in the past school year and set the standard for excellence in education.

I have no idea why anyone would waste their time listening to a bunch of brainless harpies. These same women would absolutely lose it if a man stood up and declared, “Husbands can always do better than their current wife.”
"Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper & actress Sophia Bush: if a woman is questioning whether she can do better than her current husband, "the answer is always yes." "This idea that it's too late or you're too old, or who are you to want more, that's patriarchy. That is crazy."

Wield power 🔁 collapse into female victimhood doom loop
Elissa Slotkin claims that the only reason that she's being attacked for threatening lawfare against young conservatives for serving in the Trump administration is because she's a woman. 🙄

The thing where one is obliged to pretend to believe this obviously false but politically convenient statistic in order to remain a liberal in good standing is one of those things that used to just kinda grate on me but after 25 years has driven me fully up the wall

It’s crazy that we can just provide for ourselves that thrill of getting a package in the mail—and it’s likely to be the very thing that you wanted and needed, in the exact color that you would have chosen for yourself. Environmentalists can boycott Amazon all they want, but I don’t know how we can ever get past this fact.

I’m all for supporting women’s health (I am a woman after all) but we currently have eight federal offices of health for women and zero for men. ZERO. Please, do SOMETHING to help men, too… Why doesn’t anyone care?

Whitehouse is very selective when it comes to the presumption of innocence. He only affords it to people in his tribe. It's for everyone.
US @SenWhitehouse says @BerettaLiz “was a hardworking, hands-on chairwoman, who served with energy and integrity. I am very grateful for her exemplary service. I would remind everyone that our justice system affords a presumption of innocence to those accused of a crime.”

Can confirm that mine watch March Madness and the Masters but who could be against that?
NEW: Last school year, a 7th grader viewed 4,700 YouTube videos during class. An 8th grader viewed 5,700 videos in class. A 2nd grader viewed ~500 in just 2 months. Less than 5% were educational. @nbcnews analyzed the YouTube watch histories of students from across the country. My new story shows how far some take it on their school laptops and iPads --> nbcnews.com/specials/hooked-…

If you live in one of the gray states, your governor has blocked scholarships from the new Trump federal scholarship program from being given to kids in your state. And I would recommend upgrading to a better governor.

BREAKING: The flagship law review at UC Berkeley is poised to delete all internal application records after we reported on the journal's use of personal statements to promote "diversity," sparking concerns that the journal is attempting to destroy evidence of unlawful discrimination. The law review will vote tomorrow on a document retention policy that would require the journal to delete all "Write-On application materials following the conclusion of each year's Write-On process," as well as any materials related to the election of the journal's Holistic Review Committee. It would also bar the law review from retaining "any recordings of election forums." As a reminder, law review editors have pledged in writing to "uplift Native voices," weigh "diverse life experience" against "technical editing abilities," and "integrate anti-racist sentiment" into the selection process.

🚨 NEW: For the @WSJ, @Hartz_PhD and I expose the ideological takeover of the American Psychological Association. The APA is facing the possible loss of its federal accreditation authority following allegations of widespread antisemitism. But while the APA's antisemitism problem is serious, it's only a symptom of a much deeper ideological rot. The organization has become so captured by radical left-wing political activism that its commitment to scientific objectivity competence is now in serious doubt. We examined the program for this year's major APA Division 39 conference, which drew nearly 800 attendees and held 90 panels over four days. By our count, roughly 70 of the 90 panels were overtly political, and always left-wing. Topics included abolishing the family, queer anarchist psychoanalysis, dismantling gender assessment guidelines, and white supremacy. One session even concluded with a drag show. There was at least some hope that the threat of losing federal accreditation might prompt some institutional soul-searching. It didn't. Instead, APA members just elected Candice Hargons as their next president. Her campaign identifies "systemic intersectional oppression" as the profession's "common enemy" and calls for rejecting the traditional scientific notions of objectivity. Psychologists wield enormous influence over vulnerable patients, and the people seeking treatment deserve the peace of mind knowing that the care they're receiving care is evidence based and not tainted radical politics. We believe most would agree that federal accreditation should actually mean something. If the APA cannot distinguish its scientific mission from its political activism, the Education Department should reconsider whether it deserves the government's endorsement as an authority over psychological training.
