Since late March, both Delta and United have their evening NYC-TPA flights using the number 1636. (EWR for UA, JFK for DL). They’re an hour apart. Can anyone figure out if that’s random? Seems like quite a coincidence (and not ideal practice).
First flights since Sunday evening approaching NY airports but runways not quite ready yet — expecting them to open shortly. But delays will persist as capacity will be low for a while.

Very cool! I’ll also note a new feature I noticed this week on @united app — they have a “boarded” counter live tracking boarding passes scanned out of total passengers booked so you can real time monitor progress. Great new feature and one of its kind!
