Itβs the wildest thing to make these artifacts and then a few days later watching the reactions of you beautiful people unboxing them in the real-time. Before anyone says it, no one in this video was gifted product or paid for these videos, theyβre just a few brilliant videos from the MBF drop we were tagged in and loved.
A feature I wish the iPhone Pro had - synchronised time code between phones using airdrop like tech. Crowd sourced multi cam could be a thing!
Apple have released the M5 Pro and Max-equipped MacBook Pros. Still no hardware AV1 video encode in 2026; they are the only GPU manufacturer who does not offer this capability. Still.
At least we get Wi-Fi 7 - and three display output on the Pro tier.

You now have to confirm youβre 18 to use your @Apple iPhone in Australia.
Not with a photo, or ID. But with your banking informationβ¦
Been trying to get traction with Apple for the poor microphone performance in the iPhone 17 Pro since October, but they keep taking my information, repro information and then close the cases off without any response from Apple. Honestly, disgusting experience.

You can never be too careful especially considering the cost of ram these days.
Hey @eBayAU - the situation with US tariffs for non-business customers is a mess. Can I get in touch with a product manager or someone who can help us get this functionality as I would like to sell to the USA again and your support is giving me circular responses.
Am I reading this right that the new Apple M5 MacBook Pro *still* doesn't do hardware AV1 encoding?!? Intel, AMD and NVIDIA have been doing this for years.
If a business responds to a very specific and detailed support ticket with "Hi, I'm an AI assistant..." and treat me like a human support agent would if they hadn't read my submission properly, they will probably lose me as a customer.
Hey @auspost, eBay are charging customers for AusPost shipping labels that the platform cannot generate, and we're also left to pay the tariffs on our own. Can your business/account management team sort this out with eBay Australia ASAP?

I never told my story about leaving ESL. Here it is:
I resigned from my role as General Manager of ESL Australia after disputes with a Regional Director over a conflict of interest in the LCO - whereby an owner of the league had financial ties to Dire Wolves, a team in the league, and also managed by Spiller.
Dire Wolves players made several complaints to the league complaining of mistreatment, particularly nonpayment, ongoing for many months at that stage.
I have seen many dodgy things in esports over the years, but I really couldnβt stand kids (to me) being ripped off by these big orgs and in particular ones that had shady ties to league owners (*cough* Guinevere *cough*)
We, being the LCO project leads, league management, etc, tried to enforce rules and take action against the team. Ultimately, this lead to looking into kicking the Dire Wolves out of the LCO. After many warnings, I personally reached out to Riot to ask for their approval to boot the team and they responded with, and I quote, βGo get βemβ.
It was at this time that I had a meeting with the co-owner of the league, from Guinevere, to tell them Iβm kicking Dire Wolves out. They immediately contacted my direct manager, who called me from half way around the world to request a βtools downβ on the LCO topic. From that point I was taken off everything LCO.
From my perspective, the LCO, particularly Guinevere, ESL senior management and Dire Wolves management, including Spiller, were complicit in ripping off their own players, and trying to bury it, downplaying the seriousness of the issue. My regret is I never shared the true reason I left ESL.
Good riddance to Arcanist, a key player in ripping off people in ANZ esports.
