Spending time around wealthy people will change what you believe is possible for yourself. Neuroscience shows that the people around you influences how you think, what you value and how you behave. If everyone around you makes $50k a year, making $50k a month sounds ridiculous. But when you spend time with people doing it, it begins to feel achievable. You start asking what they know that you haven’t learned yet. I used to get coffee at hotels that cost $2k a night just to surround myself with people who could afford to stay there. Soon enough I realized they were no different than me. They’d just figured out a few things I hadn’t. And those were things I could learn.

I regret to inform you nobody cares how hard you're trying. When you're young, people reward effort. They tell you how proud they are that you're trying. But as you get older effort stops being impressive. The world doesn't reward how exhausted you are. It rewards what you produce.

You're going to become the rich and unemployed one in your family that posts from wild places all across the world. Your friends are going to wonder how you made so much money without having to be tied down to a job.
