i’ve been promoting this show since the first deadline announcement when i was getting 3 likes and talking to myself 😭 love seeing the new hype especially for anya & elise but PLEASE don’t turn this into a fandom that sidelines the other girls and start being weird. let’s be normal.
The replies and qts are getting corncerning yall need to remember this is an ENSEMBLE show about the girls from saint mark’s catholic school girls not JUST the elise and anya love story. Pls keep that in mind

4. Maleah Joi Moon
Maleah Joi Moon was already a major stage talent, winning the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her Broadway debut in Hell’s Kitchen, but A Different World proves she is just as magnetic on screen. As Deborah Wayne, the daughter of beloved original characters Dwayne and Whitley, Moon carries Netflix’s sequel series with charisma, warmth and a wonderfully natural screen presence that should open the door to much more from her in the very near future.

EVIL: Netflix promotes blasphemous anti-Catholic series by mocking Our Lord, Our Lady, and the saints.
They describe the show as “a badly behaved group of Catholic schoolgirls known for praying hard and sinning even harder.”
Pray in reparation and sign our petition demanding that Netflix cancel it.

wait so from what i understood in that clip (french classes coming in clutch 😭) maddie might break her foot during the big dance scene ?? which will probably be shown in flashbacks & according to the clip she wasn’t eating to fit into her leotard despite being diabetic :( the body tackling eds and 2000s beauty standards is gonna be sooo interesting
