That'd be one hell of a way to insert a deep-cover agent. Except for the fingerprints, of course. But "rescuing" a group of American POW's and inserting an agent to replace one of them who'd died… hell of a way. Basically Mad Men, but with a Soviet Agent.
June 6, 1944. An American paratrooper jumps into Normandy in the dark and lands on the roof of a church. By the end of the war he had been declared dead, held a funeral he didn't attend, escaped the Nazis, and fought his way toward Berlin in a Soviet tank unit. His name was Joseph Beyrle. He's believed to be the only American soldier to serve in both the US Army and the Red Army during World War Two. Beyrle was from Muskegon, Michigan. He joined the 101st Airborne, the Screaming Eagles. His buddies called him Jumpin' Joe. On D-Day night his plane was hit by flak and he jumped early. He came down on a church roof, slid off, and lost his unit in the chaos. For a few days he fought on his own, blowing up a power station and cutting German communications. Then he was captured. Here's where it gets strange. A German soldier ended up wearing Beyrle's uniform and dog tags. That German was killed. When the body was found, the Americans identified it as Joseph Beyrle. The army told his parents their son was dead. His hometown held a funeral mass for him. His obituary ran in the local paper. Meanwhile, he was very much alive, being moved from one German prison camp to another. He escaped more than once. One time he and two other prisoners jumped off a train heading east. They thought they were heading for Russia and freedom. They got lost and ended up in Berlin, where they were caught by the Gestapo, beaten, and tortured. In January 1945, from a camp in eastern Germany, he finally made a clean escape. He went east, toward the gunfire. Toward the Soviets. When he found a Soviet tank unit, he walked out with his hands up, holding a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes, and shouted the only Russian he knew. American comrade. It worked. He asked to join them. And they said yes. For about a month, an American paratrooper rode with Soviet tank crews as they pushed toward Germany. He used his demolition training. He fought. He was reportedly welcomed by a Soviet officer who was one of the rare women commanding a tank battalion. Then a German dive bomber attacked. Beyrle was badly wounded. He was evacuated to a Soviet hospital. Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov reportedly visited, heard his story, and gave him papers to get to the American embassy in Moscow. When he showed up, the embassy didn't believe him. As far as the US was concerned, Joseph Beyrle was dead. They held him under guard until his fingerprints proved who he was. He made it home to Michigan in April 1945. In 1946 he got married. In the same church where they'd held his funeral. Decades later, in 1994, he was honored at the White House by President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin for serving both countries. And the last twist. His son, Joseph Beyrle II, grew up to become the United States Ambassador to Russia.

This is a watershed moment and it passed by almost unnoticed. Here we have British cops threatening a man with arrest for being “openly Jewish” at a pro-Hamas rally. Being Jewish in public where Muslims can see you in Sadiq Khan’s London is now officially a crime. Never mind that he’s standing quietly with his hands in his pockets while people chant “Nazi scum” at him: he’s visibly Jewish, which makes him clearly in the wrong. Also worth noting: the fact that the cops, apparently incapable of preventing violence as long as this man is antagonizing the crowd by breathing Jewishly at them, have decided that the best way to deal with the problem of violent antisemitism is to side with the antisemitic mob. Arresting a Jew, whose very existence is an act of Islamophobia, is so much safer than protecting him and his right to be openly Jewish in 21st century Britain.
“You are quite openly Jewish” “If you choose to remain here you will be arrested for breaching the peace” In Sadiq Kahn’s diverse & inclusive London - Police threaten you with arrest just for being Jewish in areas of the City people might take offence to that.

Answer: MIT’s investigation was not exactly independent thanks to coordinated female faculty collusion. It was a kangaroo court and the verdict was pre-determined
🚨 BOMBSHELL COURT EVIDENCE EXPOSES INSIDER INFLUENCE OVER MIT'S TENURE-REVIEW PROCESS IN THE DAVID M. SABATINI ORDEAL. 🔱 NEW REVELATION — Court evidence exposes MIT Professor Sangeeta Bhatia's involvement in the selection of Sabatini's tenure-review committee On 27 September 2021, Kristin Knouse exchanged messages with Izabella Pena following a conversation with @MIT Professor Sangeeta Bhatia. The court-disclosed messages reveal Kristin Knouse telling Izabella Pena: 🔴 “Sangeeta just called” 🔴 “they even asked for insight into who to put on the committee” 🔴 “AND she said she will go to Rafael Reif’s office and protest the decision if and when needed.” Pena responded: “At least they are asking her insight” Knouse replied: “Exactly” “This is good” ⚠️ The evidence exposes a troubling channel of insider influence surrounding MIT's tenure-review process. These contemporaneous communications document that Knouse understood Bhatia to have been consulted about the committee's composition and to be prepared to challenge its eventual decision directly with MIT President Rafael Reif. Rather than an independent review insulated from interested parties, the messages reveal access to the committee-selection process by an academic aligned with the complainant, raising serious concerns about institutional impartiality and conflicts of interest. This disclosure adds another significant piece to the growing documentary record surrounding the institutional handling of Professor @DMSabatini's case. 📑 REVIEW THW ORIGINAL COURT EVIDENCE BELOW. 🔱 ScienceGuardians™ Legal and Investigative Team MORE COURT EVIDENCE. Below are two charts, one showing all the major conflicts going on in the world and the deaths accumulated by them in the month of September 2026. The second chart lists the media coverage/headlines and attention those deaths received. We now have real data to back up what many of us have been saying for months on this app. Look at Gaza/Palestine with 120 the “least amount of deaths” where supposedly a genocide is happening but with “the most coverage.” Nigeria had 451 deaths nearly 4 times that of Gaza but received ZERO HEADLINES and they receive $730 MILLION in American taxpayer dollars FY2025. Somalia had 194 deaths, 74 murders than Gaza and receives ZERO HEADLINES and they received $498 MILLION in American taxpayer dollars FY2025. Gaza receives way more headlines, coverage, and attention than Ukraine and they had 6202 deaths in September alone and it’s not considered a GENOCIDE. Nobody’s marching in the streets, protesting, and rioting around the world for Ukrainians. Ethiopia had the 4th largest deaths at 609 and coverage is AGAIN surpassed by Gaza and they received $920 MILLION in American taxpayer dollars in FY2025. None of people talking about Gaza care that the tax dollars are getting to extremists and funding their atrocities. And you wanna know why? Yes it’s antisemitism because it’s a conflict with Jewish people. But ALSO in the other countries it’s the Islamists who are doing the killings mainly, but in Gaza they’re being killed and are pissed about it and the world has to know and pay, as they cry victim.

August 2021: Joe Biden throws a White House party to celebrate electric cars. Invited: GM, Ford, and Stellantis. EVs were 1–2% of their US sales. Not invited: Tesla. The company that built about 74% of America's EVs. Built here, by American workers. Asked why, Psaki shrugged: "I'll let you draw your own conclusion." Elon did. In 2022 he said he'd always voted Democrat but was done with them. That fall he bought Twitter and opened it back up to everyone. Democrats had the most famous innovator in the world on their side. They traded him for a photo op with some union boss. That snub was the beginning of the end. They're still paying for it.

During the darkest days of the Model 3 production crisis, Elon Musk reached out to Apple CEO Tim Cook to discuss the possibility of Apple buying Tesla. Cook refused to take the meeting. Tesla was worth roughly one tenth of its current value at the time. Elon made this public himself, in a tweet, years later. The admission is extraordinary because it reveals something most CEOs would never disclose: the moment they were so desperate they tried to sell the company they had spent their life building. The call to Cook was not a negotiation from strength. It was a distress signal from a man whose company was weeks from collapse. Tesla in 2017 and 2018 was burning through half a million dollars per hour trying to ramp Model 3 production. The production line was failing. The robots Elon had insisted on were not working. He had moved his desk to the end of the assembly line and was sleeping on the factory floor. The company that was supposed to prove electric cars could be mass produced was proving the opposite. The offer to Apple was the backup plan. If the factory couldn't be fixed, if the production hell couldn't be survived, if the cash ran out before the cars shipped, then selling to Apple would preserve the mission even if it ended Elon's control of it. The mission was more important than his ego. The call to Cook proved that. Cook said no. Not "let me think about it." Not "send me some numbers." He refused the meeting entirely. The CEO of the richest company on earth would not sit down with the CEO of a struggling car company to discuss an acquisition at a discount that would later look like the greatest missed deal in corporate history. Apple could have bought Tesla for $60 billion. Tesla is now worth over $800 billion. Elon went back to the factory floor. The backup plan was gone. There was no exit. The only way forward was through production hell, through the failing robots, through the sleepless nights and the vomiting mornings and the financial cliff that was weeks away. He fixed the line. The Model 3 shipped. Tesla survived. Tim Cook's refusal to take the meeting is now the most expensive declined phone call in business history. And Elon, who had been desperate enough to sell, was forced by the refusal to save the company himself. The man who almost gave it away for one tenth of its value kept it because the buyer wouldn't pick up the phone. Sometimes the best thing that happens to you is the help that doesn't come.

Export controls work, my friends
While Nvidia beats sky-high expectations every quarter, China’s second-biggest AI chip designer’s Q3 revenue missed revenue expectations by a massive 44% due to capacity constraints and memory shortages. China’s AI chipmaking remains massively constrained due to export controls. Interestingly, the last time Nvidia missed revenue expectations was August 2022–one month before US export controls on AI chips went into effect.

Just bc a fully libertarian society has never existed doesn’t mean the ideology has done nothing. *Every* time a country liberalises (deregulation, free trade), it booms. *Every* time it socialises (price controls, nationalising, heavy regulation), it stagnates. Quit LARPing.
Libertarians are forced to steal the successes of state capitalism because their ideologies have done nothing good. But if you actually implemented that same state capitalism, they will not be happy

One of capitalism's greatest achievements is turning luxuries into necessities. Now their widespread availability of housing, food, water, and healthcare is taken for granted, and their absence is treated as evidence of poverty.
Capitalism has turned housing, food, water and healthcare into luxury goods.

I start most conversations with board members about the “overconfidence bias”. It’s real & it’s even bigger issue on the side of political and institutional decision makers. The idiom “blissful ignorance” of “confident idiots” fits the best. Don’t be one of them! It’s a choice.
This paper answers why confident idiots run the world. Cornell University published a psychological paper that explains every terrible boss, every loud influencer, and every broken corporate hierarchy. It’s called “Unskilled and Unaware of It.” they tested participants across logic, grammar, and humor to measure the gap between actual performance and self-perception. And the results are wild. participants scoring in the bottom 12th percentile consistently believed they were operating in the 62nd percentile. they were not lying. they were literally incapable of recognizing their own incompetence. the paper revealed a brutal paradox: the exact skills required to master a domain are the exact same skills required to accurately evaluate your own competence in that domain. if you lack the skill, you inherently lack the cognitive capacity to realize you are failing. this creates a dangerous systemic loop. the incompetent are blessed with absolute, blinding certainty. their brain protects them from their own ignorance, allowing them to speak first, demand authority, and never second-guess their decisions. meanwhile, the actual experts suffer the exact inverse. top performers in the study consistently underestimated their rank. because a task was easy for them, they falsely assumed it was easy for everyone else. they hesitate. they obsess over nuance. they assume they have nothing unique to add. we are biologically wired to confuse confidence with competence. the loudest person in the room gets promoted, gets funded, and gets the microphone, not because they know what they are doing, but because they are physically incapable of seeing what they don't. the only defense mechanism is building systems that stop rewarding absolute certainty and start demanding proof of work.

Yes. Nationalize starlink!! …it’s past time. Just like his other shams…without massive taxpayer money, starlink and spacex would not make it. He reaps billions from us taxpayers - then spends it to elect fascists and destroy our electoral system.
