Sometimes, there's peace in humility. You humble yourself to do something your pride won't let you do on a good day. You feel stupid thereafter. Something keeps pricking your heart, asking, "What did you just do?" But somehow, in the midst of all that noise, comes this peace. A certain weight is lifted. You suddenly find yourself able to let go and move on truly. So, there is peace in humility. ✍️ ~ Findy

Compliance in a country like ours can never be overemphasized. You can have the most brilliant idea, build an amazing product and even find your market. But if you overlook compliance, you could find yourself unable to take that business where it needs to go. I've heard speakers emphasize this at different tech events, but honestly, it hits differently when you're the one building something. It's one thing to hear about it. It's another to experience it firsthand.

As of this time yesterday, I was at the Blockfest Founder's Circle. 🤝 One takeaway from the fireside chat with a speakers from various VC firms stayed with me: 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙜𝙤 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜. Ideas may evolve, products may change, but a founder's ability to think ahead and adapt is what matters. Investors don't just back ideas. They back founders. 🚀 I also had the opportunity to meet the prestigious boss of @Web3Bridge and he shared great startup thoughts with me. A good time and great conversations was had. 🥂

The past few weeks has been challenging for me mentally. I haven't felt like doing anything much lately.😔 Then I go to church and heard this fire line: "If there are no challenges to your faith, then your faith cannot work. God has to let you face certain things so that when you win, you're decorated for more". That was the exact thing I needed to hear. Mental shift?? Reframing my pressures as preparation... Back to work!

“The most important part of the building is the part of the building we don't see.” ~ 𝘝𝘶𝘴𝘪 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘬𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘰 I’m building now. Rising above my struggles. Doing the work nobody sees. Laying a sustainable foundation for myself and the generation after me. And if nobody gets to see all of it, that’s okay. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚. Seeing SliqPay get spotlighted like this is honestly a great feeling. ❤️ We started with a simple question: how do we make money interoperable? Still early, still building, but we're getting there.
