Now that “The Decision Part 4” is done, the league really has no legitimate reason to drag out the Clippers/Kawhi judgement.
It took awhile, but Jae’Sean Tate finally has the shooting coach he always needed.
Get ready for that 7th year leap!
Just In: The Houston Rockets and Jae’Sean Tate have agreed to a one-year, $3.07 million deal, which is partially guaranteed for $1.04 million, league sources told @hoopshype.
Quietly, I believe there’s a furious bidding war going on for Durant. Entirely possible that he and LeBron are talking to one another as well.
A few teams have made calls to the Rockets asking about Kevin Durant's availability this offseason, including the Pistons, sources told @ClutchPoints.
Although the Rockets are not shopping Durant this summer, he is not considered an "untouchable" player on their roster.
The only signal to me is that we aren’t trying to contend. A contending team wouldn’t make a move like this that costs picks and gives up an expiring salary they could have aggregated in a bigger trade.
To me, this is less about Brown and more that there’s at least been *a* conversation about moving Durant and/or Sengun.
The Rockets, Celtics, and Pistons discussed a three-team trade that would’ve sent Alperen Sengun to Boston, Kevin Durant to Detroit, and Jaylen Brown to Houston, per @BrettSiegelNBA
“There were talks about a Kevin Durant trade involving Jaylen Brown and Alperen Sengun…Ultimately Houston did not want that type of package.”
Smart is as much a backup for Amen as he is a PG. Yes they will play together, but the minutes for Amen have to come down.
So the question remains…what’s the plan at the other guard spot? Is it Reed, FVV or a trade target?
That’s a steal for the 76ers. They were backed into a corner. Now they’re a legit title threat.
Maxey/Edgcombe/Brown is a filthy backcourt.
