That’s exactly what we’re excited about. I think seeing your people, including who didn’t show up, makes the ritual stronger, and that's what we're testing. Very early.

Exactly, the reveal updates itself as each friend hits 9PM. I have half my friends in Europe, so theirs start showing up for me in the afternoon. More timezones, more fun!

The reveal screen is a recap of the feed that you see once you tap on the big reveal button. A feed can only show one friend at a time, and I love all my friends equally ;)
Just shipped a feature that I absolutely love.
At 9PM the whole app turns into a reveal. It shows who posted, who’s back, who didn’t, a peek at the content, and a funny little gossip-like summary.
This screen is everything we believe in (your people first!), and our first step toward groups.

That's for an update, a new app is much longer.

Have many very happy moments Sam!
(I know a cool app to document trips ;)
Most builders/investors have no understanding of what good consumer retention looks like, or how exceptional 25%+ D30 is.
If you vibe code a social app, expect a nice red ZERO%.
Even a16z’s own benchmarks classify 20% D30 OK, 25% Good, 30% Great.
I once showed 56% W4 retention in an early cohort and it was dismissed as not good enough. What?!

They’ve 4 products with 1B+ MAU, they might know a thing or two about users.
Take more.
Share more.
Remember more.
That’s probably the simplest reason we’re building 9PM.
