Saran Wrap Game! Items from Restart hidden in a ball of plastic wrap. Kids had to unwrap as much of the ball as they could in 15 seconds, while wearing oven mitts! If they uncovered an item, they shared how it was related to the story. @UxbWhitin #celebratereading
Have you seen a vocabulary sculpture? Today at book club, students had to "sculpt" their partner into a statue to represent a vocabulary word from our book Repeat. Words included tethered, relaxed, celebrate, inactive and terrified! @UxbWhitin #celebratereading @leanne_demarco
