This whole situation with DBD was definitely magnified for me due to the state of the US government and how basic human rights are violated.
Last night, I received some hope. Thank you to all who voted! The future is looking better and more hopeful.

HAPPY NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 #nahm
Democrat Deb Haaland has won the New Mexico Governor's race.
She will make history as the nation's first Native American governor.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Haaland, a member of the Laguna Pueblo, will be the first female Native American governor of any U.S. state, not the first overall. Johnston Murray was the first Native American to be elected governor in the U.S.

Regarding our Indigenous Icons Collaboration Event with Twitch featuring @DeadbyDaylight
Apart of taking accountability is labeling it for what it is and not dancing around the topic.
Members of the community are targeted and harassed.
People's mental health is significantly impacted.
People find fear in a community they once found safety.
Label it like it is

... and what about THIS? You all are letting people who do not share the same values into YOUR creator program.
This event is not separate, its a pattern.
This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.
