Just in: In Vancouver's "public safety plebiscite," voters supported both measures by margins of more than 2-to-1, despite roundly rejecting ABC, the party that added the questions to the ballot. Now up to Green-COPE-OneCity majority council how to deal with non-binding results.

... of course, it's also entirely possible Vancouver voters reject the plebiscite questions as roundly as they rejected ABC in the election! I haven't seen polling on this, but heard (purely anecdotally) from many people who voted yes on plebiscite, but against ABC. So we'll see!

Once again, I'll note my simple solution to reckless driving. Seize the car, give it to the BC Lottery corporation and hold a lottery where the winners get the seized cars. Maybe you win a Lamborghini, maybe a Cadillac, maybe a lowered 1996 Honda civic with straight pipes.
