Very Impresive Alhamadulilah
In addition to Ilhan Omar’s reelection to Congress, NINE more Somalis were elected to the State Senate and State House across Minnesota, Ohio, and Oregon. I am speechless.

Support the PS for Investment.@PSAhassan Kenya’s industrial transformation under @StateHouseKenya William Ruto requires strategic investment in skills development, technology transfer and partnerships with industry. Equipping our youth with practical skills, particularly in 🇰🇪
Under the leadership of President Ruto @WilliamsRuto Kenya’s industrial base is growing hence the need for investments in industrial skills development to meet the high demand for skilled industrial workforce in Kenya. Africa Skills Week October 2026 provided an important platform for advancing discussions on Africa’s skills development and workforce readiness for industrial future. Held discussions with Eng. Michael J. Vallez, Founder and Executive Director of GFP International and CEO of African Skills and Development Group, following their presentation of the report “Building Africa’s Industrial Future” at Africa Skills Week October 2026 in Zimbabwe. The report highlights a high demand for skilled welders and the need to strengthen the capacity of the key training institutions such as Kenya Industrial Training Institute (KITI), NITA and TVETs to produce competent, industry-ready WELDERS for emerging industrial opportunities such as the East Africa Dangote Oil Refinery project. My state department is working closely with the State Department for Labour and Skills Development in championing strategic partnerships that will attract investment, facilitate skills and technology transfer, create employment opportunities and strengthen Kenya’s capacity for sustainable industrial growth.@GovLeeKinyanjui @StateHouseKenya @LabourSPKE @TVET_MoE @EduMinKenya @Investment_Ke @InvestKenya_ @epzakenya @SEZAuthority_ke @KDC_KE @MITIKenya @IndustryKE

Kenya should welcome and incentivise the Dangote Group and other African investors. More investment means jobs, industrial growth and economic opportunities for our people. Let’s build an investor-friendly environment focused on development, not political noise.
The Dangote group have smelt blood in Kenya...and that is good for Kenya. Kenya must incentify The Dangote Group further and encourage more investment from Africa. We must ignore cry babies like Hon. Ndindi Nyoro with their penchant for talking nonsense all over the place and create the right ecosystem for Kenya to be the preferred investment destination in Africa.

Based on creating jobs for our youth, opening business opportunities for our people and bringing meaningful development to our community. Last by not lest @Kenya_Ports under the Stewardship of Cap Ruto May people of Lamu benefit most in this historic investment.

This is welcome news for Lamu and Kenya. I look forward to stronger cooperation between the @AlikoDangote Project, the Government and the people of Lamu. Let us hope and pray that this project, under the leadership of . @WilliamsRuto , becomes a lasting turning point for Lamu.
The Port of Lamu has welcomed MV Great Glory, a vessel carrying the second batch of heavy project cargo destined for the Dangote East Africa Refinery. The shipment of the 154 assorted heavy machinery equipment to Lamu, is another concrete step in the physical mobilisation of the project that will reshape Kenya's energy landscape and anchor the country's northern region as an industrial hub. This follows an earlier delivery in late September, when the MV Da Yang docked at the port with nearly 3,000 metric tonnes of construction equipment for the refinery. The Dangote East Africa refinery, valued at approximately Sh2.2 trillion, is designed to process up to 700,000 barrels of crude oil per day, making it the largest refining complex in East Africa once completed. It will produce petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel for Kenya and the region. @TransportKE @SDoT_Kenya @mohamed_daghar @davis_chirchir

re-election in pursuit of inclusion, development and meaningful opportunities. Lamu is Lamu. Equal dignity. One Kenya. 🇰🇪 #Lamu #OneKenya #EqualDignity #2027

He insists Lamu has its own identity, history and political voice. While welcoming all Kenyans, he says hospitality must never be mistaken for political surrender. He also calls on @lamu005127084 indigenous communities to unite, register as voters and support @WilliamsRuto

Former Mp Lamu East MP Hon Fumo has urged the NCIC to investigate Senator John Methu over remarks describing Lamu as an “extension of Mount Kenya,” warning they could inflame ethnic tensions ahead of 2027.

I call on leaders from Mpeketoni and across Lamu to stand for mutual respect, equality and Lamu’s dignity. Lamu indiginious support @WilliamsRuto With no regret and apologies Lamu is Lamu. We speak for ourselves. #LAMU_NI_2_TERMS #LAMU #INDIGENOUS #ONE_KENYA #EQUAL_DIGNITY

Our cooperation with settlers in Mpeketoni and elsewhere must never be mistaken for weakness or surrender of our identity and political voice. We welcome coexistence, but we must also protect Lamu’s interests.

Senator @methumuhia must withdraw his remarks and apologize. Lamu is not a satellite of Mount Kenya. Lamu has its own history, identity and indigenous communities whose roots long predate the modern Kenyan state.

The fruits of Independence belong to every Kenyan. And now, it is time for Lamu to taste those fruits. Development must reach the people. Opportunity must reach the youth. And Lamu must have a seat at the table. #Ruto2Term #FruitsOfIndependence #LamuDevelopment #DangoteLamu

Dangote Lmu not simply be a refinery built in our county. It must be an economic opportunity built with our people. Our youth need jobs and skills. Our businesses need contracts. Our entrepreneurs need opportunities. Our communities need infrastructure and lasting benefits.

Today, when major investment begins coming to our region, we must recognise progress. I therefore view @StateHouseKenya @WilliamsRuto ’s a transformational leadership with measured optimism. not saying every problem has been solved. But tramendous improvement.

As we say in Lamu, “Mjeni aje, na mwenyeji apone” — let the investor come, and let the host community benefit. May this project succeed and become a lasting symbol of partnership between Government, investors and the people of Lamu
