Next year will mark 45 years since British forces liberated the Falkland Islands. For some of those veterans who fought in that conflict, this may be one of the last major anniversaries they see.
We have confirmed that commemorations will take place on the islands to mark the anniversary, honouring those who paid the ultimate price for the freedom of the Falkland Islanders.
dream home
A Traditional Roman home :-
A traditional Roman domus was far more than a place to sleep. Its design reflected family life, social status, hospitality, and business.
The atrium welcomed visitors, while the tablinum often served as a study and a place for managing family affairs. Beyond it, the peristyle opened into a peaceful courtyard surrounded by columns, plants, and decorative features.
Dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and storerooms were arranged around these central spaces, creating a home that balanced comfort with social life.
Some houses even included shops facing the street, allowing their owners to combine domestic life with commercial activity.
Ancient Roman homes were not just buildings; they were a reflection of how people lived, worked, and connected with others.
